MRS. CLARA EMILY (PETERSON) SCHWARTZENBERGER, passed away peacefully at the Lee Crest Care Center in Cardston, Alberta on February 25, 2011. Clara was born November 22, 1922 in Bow Island, Alberta, the first child of Pete and Laura Peterson. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Stanley Philip Schwartzenberger, by her father Pete, mother Laura and brother Carl. Clara is survived and sadly missed by her daughters Lorraine Hockley, Donna (Darrel) Schneider, son Daryl (Jan) Schwartzenberger.

MRS. LUCILLE MAY SCHWEIGERT, beloved wife of the late Alfred Schweigert of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the age of 89 years. She is the loving mother of one son, Larry (Lori) Schweigert and four daughters; Clara (Ernie) Postowski, Pat (Jim) Mollison, Donna (Jack) Zenner and Shirley McDally. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

HENRY SCHWEITZ, of Lethbridge, passed away at home, on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the age of 89 years. He is lovingly remembered by his son Lawerence Schweitz of Chandler, AZ., daughter Jo-Ann (Jim) Myer of Lethbridge, grandsons Jason Myer of Calgary, Justin (Stephanie) and James Myer of Lethbridge and great-grandsons Gage, Camden and Penn of Lethbridge. Henry is also survived by his brothers Ernest and Norman (Corrinne) Schweitz, sister Evelyn Carroll, sister-in-law Doris Schweitz, brother-in-law Roy Lamy, Lou and Marion Lamy as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Isabelle was predeceased by her husband Robert Sedman, parents Will and Edna Matthews, sister Doris and brother Vern. She is survived by one son, Robert “Bud” (Brenda) of Strathmore, AB, grandchildren Shari and Rob and great-granddaughter Adriana. Isabelle’s special friend Yvonne Des Roches of Lethbridge shared many good times and much laughter.

JULIUS SEILLER of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" Seiller for 60 years, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Friday, December 30th, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Along with his wife, he is lovingly remembered by his sons: George, James (Charlie), and John; grandchildren: Austin, Andrew, Julia, Marc (Rebecca) and Christopher (Cheryl); great-grandchildren: Matea, Zachary, Brie and Isabella, as well as his brother, Andy (Dorothy) Seiller.

Doreen is survived by her children Edward Sells of Lethbridge, AB and Beverley (Luigi) D'Agnone of Wrentham, AB, grandchildren D'Arcy Fujita of Wrentham, AB and Robert D'Agnone of Wrentham, AB, as well as three great-grandchildren Krista Shearer, Kourtney Fujita and her son Aiden Fujita, and Kassidy Fujita.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Shade at Cardston Hospital, Cardston, Alberta on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the age of 91. Piinotoyi was given to Allan by his great-grandfather Makoyiina Big Wolf. He was born on February 6, 1922. His great grandmothers were the midwives. He was so sick so his grandfather Makoyaapi held a sweat for his great-grandfather who named him Piinotoyi during that ceremony.
