GERD SCHMIDT, beloved husband of Elaine, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Along with his wife Elaine, he is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Jennifer (Tim) and Gwendolyn (Mike) and grandchildren, Sierra and Tanner. Gerd will be missed by many including special friends, Dixie and Dominic. Gerd was born in Berlin, Germany on November 24, 1934. He arrived in Canada in 1955 and settled in Chamberlain, Saskatchewan as a farm worker.

MR. JOHNNY SCHNEYDER, beloved husband of Liz Schneyder of Magrath, passed away suddenly at the Raymond Health Centre on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Johnny was born on March 10, 1932. Along with his loving wife of 55 years Johnny is survived by his three children, Cathy (Stan “Butch”) Martens, Johnny (Karen) Schneyder, Debbie (Gerry) Zanoni, brother, Mike (Margaret) Schneyder, five grandchildren, Trevor (Charmaine), Todd, Taylor, Giovanna, Justeena and two great grandchildren Ainsley and Addison.

AGNES SCHRAGE, beloved wife of the late Fabian Schrage of Lethbridge, passed away at the Pincher Creek Hospital Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Agnes was born on August 2, 1929 in Klonowo, West Prussia and moved to Canada in 1953. The passing of Agnes is mourned by her 7 children and their families: Ellen (Walt), Wilfred (Bernie), Werner (Kathy), Harold (Jeanne), Sonya, Ralph (Debbie), Bill, 15 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, four sisters, 2 brothers, numerous nieces and nephews.

Joyce passed away in the loving arms of her family on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the age of 81 years. Joyce’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She was a loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Frances Schultz; by his four children, Henry Schultz (Sheelagh Mercer) of Calgary, Linda Schultz (Barry Rosser) of Florida, Arthur Schultz (Sara McNeill) of Edmonton, and Maria Schultz of Lethbridge; and by his nine grandchildren, Griffith, Frances, Nicholas, Katherine, Jeremy, Rachel, Patrick, Zachary, and Gemma.

SCHULZ Martin Gustav Schulz 1931 - 2010 Martin left this life peacefully on Thursday, April 29th in Lethbridge at the age of 79. He was pre-deceased by his brother Theodore in Darmstadt, Germany, and sister Caritas Werner in Winnipeg. He leaves behind his beloved wife Katharina of 53 years, 4 children, and 5 grandchildren. Martin was born in Berlin, grew up in Koenigsberg (in former East Prussia), and certified in Banking and Commerce with the Deutsche Bank in Hannover.

ALEX SCHUMACHER, beloved husband of Ruth Schumacher of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael's Health Centre on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by Leonard Parkinson of North Battleford, SK, Linda (Jim) Sartison of Coaldale, Judy Strojwas of Taber, Dean (Elaine) Schumacher of Lethbridge, Denise (Jim) Thiessen of Red Deer, AB, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Lucy Rauw and Clara Tutt, one brother-in-law Orale Peterson and two sisters-in-law, Rita Peterson and Lil Peterson.

MRS. CLARA EMILY (PETERSON) SCHWARTZENBERGER, passed away peacefully at the Lee Crest Care Center in Cardston, Alberta on February 25, 2011. Clara was born November 22, 1922 in Bow Island, Alberta, the first child of Pete and Laura Peterson. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Stanley Philip Schwartzenberger, by her father Pete, mother Laura and brother Carl. Clara is survived and sadly missed by her daughters Lorraine Hockley, Donna (Darrel) Schneider, son Daryl (Jan) Schwartzenberger.
