RITA SIMONS of Lethbridge, AB, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Rita was predeceased by her parents, Gerardus & Hendrika Hurkens, her sisters, Frances, Gonda, Marie & Gerdie, her brothers, Gary & Cor, several nieces, nephews and her best friend Rose. She is survived by her children; Diane Simons, Matthew Simons, Rita (Lubomir) Vitanov & Mark (Tracy) Simons, 2 chosen sons, Ashley Hairy Bull and Marcel Duguay; her grandchildren, Russ ( Jordana)| Gallant, Jeni (Travis) Foisy, Alexander & Jonathan Simons, Daniel (Kayla) Puurveen, Jessica (Judd) Smith, Amy (Karl) Furtner, Marcel (Courtney) Puurveen, Justine Vitanov, Mariah, Emily & Aiden Simons; her great-grandchildren; Charlotte & Isabelle Gallant, Lauren, Christian, Hannah, Elisha & Jonathan Smith, Bradley & Allison Foisy & Mackenzie Puurveen.

FLOYD VERNON SCOTT, beloved husband of Dianne of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the age of 70 years. Born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan to Robert and Irma Scott, he lived most of his life in Lethbridge, Alberta. Floyd was a passionate and fun loving man who never ceased to enjoy life. He worked as the Regional Administrator for Parks and Recreation, Fish, Wildlife and Environment until his retirement in 1999.

ELDRED EDWIN SMALL LEGS, of Brocket, Alberta, passed away at the Calgary South Health Campus, on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 at the age of 48 years. LUDWIG STEIN, beloved husband of Lotte Stein of Lethbridge passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Ludwig is also survived by his children Janet Ainscough (Laurier Kramps), Susan (Dave) Riehl, Norm (Denise) Stein, Roger (Darlene) Stein and Christine (Bob) Stockton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Ludwig loved life and lived it to its fullest.

DAVID HARLEY LEE STORM, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Sunday, September 13th, 2015 at the age of 51 years. A Family Service will be held at STREETS ALIVE MISSION, 323- 4th Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, on Friday September 18th, 2015 at 6:00 P.M., followed by the Wake Service at 7:00 P.M. With great sadness, the family of VIVIAN CAROL SMITH (nee Baker) announce her passing on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 at the age of 75 years. Vivian is survived by her partner Dennis Peterson; children Mary-Ann (Joe) Smith, Merle (Helena) Smith Jr. and Evelyn (Trenton) Smith; grandchildren Philip, Brandi (Justin), Cody (Meghan), Zach; one brother Clark (Rita) Baker as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Vivian was born in Foremost on September 22, 1939 to Viola and Claude Baker.

JANETTE ALEXANDRA MCLEAN SHEETS, (nee Munro) beloved wife of the late Melvin Lee Sheets of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Coaldale Health Centre, on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her children David (Phyllis) Sheets of Sparwood BC, Alyson (Ben) Fink of Canmore, Janet (Paul) Ennis of Calgary, Neil Sheets (Marda Schindeler) of Lethbridge, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Hyacinthe Wade-Howard (Lou Howard) of Ottawa and Anne Atwood of Vancouver, sisters-in-law Lucille Munro of Everett WA, Lura Mae Porkka of Lethbridge and Maxine Porkka of Red Deer.

October 10,1960 - May 23, 2015 Donna Marie Seibel passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 23rd. She was an exceptional woman loved by everyone who knew her. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Cary, and daughters Carly (Chris Goruk) and Andrea. She is also lovingly remembered by her parents George and Rose Jarokosky, her siblings; Deanna (Tim) Harrison, Mike (Bonnie) Jarokosky, Lori (Brian) Hamilton, Joanne (Darren) Unger, Darren (Marie) Seibel, Duane (Michelle) Seibel and many nieces and nephews.

ROSINA "ROSE" STRYKER of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Glen Stryker, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the age of 95 years. Rose was born on February 17, 1920 in Yugoslavia. She immigrated to Canada with her parents and two sisters in 1934 and settled north of Manyberries, AB. She married Glen Stryker in 1947 and settled on a farm south of Orion near Pakowki Lake until retiring in Lethbridge in 1980.

JAMES WALTER SCHURMANN, beloved son of Klaus & Mary Lee Schurmann and cherished brother of Justin (Krista) Schurmann, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, May 8th, 2015 at the age of 28 years. James was a wonderful and loving son, brother, grandson, uncle and cousin. When he smiled, the room lit up. When he loved, it was with his entire being. When he laughed, everyone laughed. In his early years he enjoyed sports; badminton, wrestling, and HOCKEY - oh how he loved his Maple Leafs.
