ELIZABETH "BETH" GORDON SPROUL, beloved wife of the late Stanley Kennedy Sproul, passed away in Lethbridge, AB on Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 at the age of 92 years. Beth was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB moving with her family to Lethbridge in 1967. She was an active member of McKillop United Church and the UCW for almost 50 years, and was also a member of the Maple Leaf Chapter No.

SCHAMBER, of Milk River, AB, beloved husband of Helen Schamber on January 30, 2017 at the age of 100 years in the Milk River Health Centre. Peter was born in Denzil, Saskatchewan, and moved to Primate, Saskatchewan where his parents farmed. During the dirty thirties, Peter 'rode the rails' across Alberta with his brother Joe, looking for work.

On January 19, 2017, LYNN STEVENS passed away at the age of 66 after a long and valiant battle with a degenerative illness. Lynn's perseverance continues to serve as an example to her friends and family. Lynn was the devoted daughter of Evelyn and Donald, the caring older sister of Wesley, Louise, Brian, and Cameron, and the patient mother of Colin and Graham. She was also a friend, confidant, and mentor to innumerous others.

SYBIL SWANSON, of Milk River, beloved wife of the late Bert Swanson, passed away peacefully at the Milk River Health Centre, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her son Larry of Canmore and his daughter Sherry; Debra of Oilmont, MT and her daughter Shauna (Dale) of Edmonton; Rosalind of Medicine Hat and her children McKenna and Mason; son Wayne (Gloria) and their children Justin, Crystal, Jonathan, Thomas, Finley and Minota; son Darrel (Rhonda) and their children Calvin, Dylan and Harlee.

SANTA MAYA SARKI, beloved wife of Purna Sarki, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the age of 59 years. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, January 7, 2017, starting at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at the Royal View Cemetery.

BEATRICE JOAN SINCLAIR, beloved wife of William (Bill) Sinclair of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday January 2, 2017 at the age of 85 years. She was the loving mother of Rogan (Kim) Sinclair, Ferrol (Brian) Nicol, Tracy (Heather) Sinclair and Jolayne (Sidney) Manning. Joan was loved and will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Stefanie and Brent Nicol, Quinn Sinclair, Christmas and Mickee Sinclair and Martine and Shannelle Manning.

The Lord in His wisdom called home His child OTTO SALOMONS, husband of Barbara Salomons, of Lethbridge, on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 70 years of age. He passed away suddenly surrounded by family and friends at the Foothills Medical Centre. Otto is survived by his daughter Natalie and Jake van Schothorst and their children Chelsea van Schothorst and Kendall and Colin Feenstra, his son Shane and Kerry Salomons and their children Jesse and Chase, and 8 sisters and 5 brothers.

JOAN GAIL SIMMONS, beloved wife of Dave Simmons, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Palliative Care on Tuesday, October 25th, 2016 at the age of 73 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Dave; children, Lance (Sylvie), David (Michele), Darren (Gaylene), and Karyn (Richard); grandchildren, Christopher (Tricia), Jenna, Braden, Luke, Avary, Harrison, and Kennedy; and great-granddaughter, Mackenzie. She is also survived by her siblings, Larry (Patsy), Sandra (Bob) and Darcy (Estelle).

JOHN "JAN" SZELAGOWSKI passed away peacefully at St. Therese Villa on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the age of 91 years. John was the loving father of Janet (Tyler) Cook and Barbara (Peter) Ziegler; grandfather of Jennifer (Michael) Brunelle, Cheryl (Charles) Smith, Ryan Cook, Kimberly (Ross) Ziegler-Morley and Stephanie Ziegler; three great grandchildren: Kayla, Alyssa Brunelle and Alex Smith. He was predeceased by his loving wife Joanne "Jasia"; his parents, Stanislaw and Marianna Szelagowski; his siblings Stefania, Kazimierz and Janina.

GEORGETTE MARIE STINSON, beloved wife of the late Ernest "Ernie" Stinson, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 25th, 2016 at the age of 90 years, after a valiant effort for life. She is survived by two daughters, Kim (Tony Laturnus) and Kris Stinson (Neil Parisien). Georgette and Ernie celebrated 50 years of marriage together.
