LOIS D. STORY beloved wife of Phil Story, passed away on June 27, 2017 at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 91 years. Along with her husband Phil, she is survived by her son Peter (Denise) Story of Lethbridge, and her daughter Patricia (Bruce English) Story of Edmonton, as well as with her three grandchildren Cathryn, Matthew, and Jane. She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Myrtle Peterson, as well as her two brothers Lloyd and Garth Peterson.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of PATRICK "SULLY" SULLIVAN, who passed away peacefully on Monday June 19, 2017 in Lethbridge at the age of 74 after a long battle with Lymphoma. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Jean Sullivan; daughter Megan (Scott) Routly of Calgary; two granddaughters Taylor Routly and Shay Routly of Calgary; brother Tim Sullivan of Lethbridge and sister Shannon (Jim) Dunlop of Olds as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

JAMES "JAMIE" ELWOOD SORGARD, of Picture Butte, AB, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, June 16th, 2017 at the age of 66 years. Jamie was born on November 14, 1950 in Lethbridge, AB and was raised on the family farm in Iron Springs. After attending school in Iron Springs and Picture Butte, he trained at Lethbridge Community College and was a butcher in Picture Butte before starting a dairy on the family farm in 1970.

Mary Chisholm Robertson Skrukwa (nee Moore) was born March 16, 1923 in Slamannan, a community in Falkirk, Scotland. She spent the first 21 years of her life growing up in Falkirk with 5 sisters (Jane, Louisa, Helen, Roberta, Betty) and one brother (Michael) in and around Falkirk Scotland. During the war years she worked in a munitions factory but as luck would have it a dashing young soldier from Lethbridge was directed to visit the Moore family in Falkirk by a relative back in Alberta.

BRIDGET FRANCES SHEA, beloved wife of the late James Shea, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9th, 2017 at the age of 94 years. A Celebration of Bridget's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME - 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Thursday, June 15th, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. with Deacon Cliff Bogdan officiating.

THOMAS "TOM" AMES SAMUEL, beloved husband of Beth Samuel of 43 years, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the age of 72 years. Tom is survived by his children Ian (Beverley), Ryan (Nadine), Gregg (Dawn), Ross (Erin) and Karen (previous marriage); grandchildren Paige, Lexie and Kieran. He is also survived by his brother George Samuel (Joanna Dunbar), sisters-in-law Evelyn Samuel (Michael Bocking) and Marilyn (Raymond) Polege and brother-in-law Glenn (VeronaLea) Flanders as well as several nieces and nephews.

Hahn Stowell gently left this world April 27 in her 93rd year. Born in Holland, she met and married an Alberta born soldier (Ken Stowell), moving to Ponoka in 1946. Her son Randy (Gloria) Stowell, her daughter Marlene (Richard) Tanaka were Alberta born and her adopted daughter Jackie Stowell was born in Manitoba. A kind and loving person, she greatly enjoyed people, especially her grandchildren Chris (Mandi) Stasiuk and Leah (Karl) Smith and Kaylin Stowell.

BARBARA JEAN STURROCK, beloved wife of the late George Sturrock of Coaldale, passed away peacefully at the Coaldale Health Care Centre on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Barb will be forever missed by her children Jack (Marjorie) Sturrock of Coaldale, Judy Mezerecky of Calgary, and Marnie Wilkins (Don Perry) of Coaldale as well as five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband George, grandson Kevin Sturrock, parents William and Isobel Davidson and all five of her siblings and their spouses.

After a long and rewarding life, Elizabeth passed away peacefully in her 102nd year, at the Fairmont Extendicare, her home for the past five and a half years. Liz was a devoted and treasured Wife, Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma, who left a legacy that her family will always strive to uphold. Elizabeth is survived by two daughters who cherish her memory; Lorraine (Lucien) Bruyckere and Eileen (Edward) Ivanics. She will always remain in the thoughts and prayers of her three grandchildren; Dean (Claudia) Bruyckere, Colleen (Brent) Leadbetter, and Myrna-Jean (Dann) Burroughs.
