SCHULTZ MR. RICHARD ALVIN SCHULTZ, beloved husband of Linda Bruneau of Coaldale, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the age of 59 years. Left to mourn his passing are his brothers, Michael (Monica), Tom (Alice), Roy (Trudy) Schultz, his step children - Angele (Shawn) Marc, and his grandchildren Logan and Jayden. He will also be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews. As per Richard's request, there will be no formal funeral service.

RICHARD FILIPCIC, beloved husband of Rose, his wife of 60 years, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on January 5, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Left to mourn are his daughter Louise Westland (Garry) and her children; Melissa Westland; Melanie Johnston (Chris) and their children Eli, Noah, Jacob and Luke; Michael Westland (Christine); and Matthew Westland; and Richard’s son Stan Filipcic and his daughter Katherine Anderson (Kieran) and their daughter Ella; Stan’s son Adam and Adam’s son Weston.

Mr. RICHARD McLAREN, beloved husband of Mrs. Gerry McLaren of Slave Lake, AB, passed away at the Slave Lake Hospital on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the age of 64 years. Richard is survived by his wife of 43 years Gerry, and his family, Michael and children (Jess, Joey, June), Ric (Keri) children (Alyssa, Brandon, Ethan, Emma), his adopted beloved dogs (Sulley and Snoopie), also survived by his brothers Tom (Alice) and familes, Willie and families, sister-in-law Jean and families, mother-in-law Lena Boychuk and her family.

RICHARD ALEXANDER VIGH of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the age of 56 years. Richard is survived by his wife Mary, children; Dawn, Ricky, Dennis and Judy, grandson Kurtis, brother Alan (Carole), aunts Julie (Jack) and Kate, uncle Bill (Norma) and cousins Debbie and Debra. Richard was predeceased by his parents Alex and Gladys Vigh and uncle Bill Nagy. Richard was born on April 26, 1952 to Gladys and Alexander Vigh in Lethbridge where he resided until his passing.

MARGARET RICHARDS, of Coaldale passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 12th, following a brief illness. She was two weeks away from her 89th birthday. Margaret is survived by her husband of 63 years, Tom Richards; as well as their children Jean (Ken) Mackintosh and Harley (Jackie May) Richards; grandchildren Laura (Mark) Fast, Logan Mackintosh, Alison (Clayton) Varjassy, Tuscany Richards, Sterling Richards and Autumn Richards; and great-granddaughter Maisie Fast.

On Thursday, August 26, 2010 our very special and much loved Aunt, MARGARET RIEDIGER of Coaldale, went to meet her Savior at the age of 91 years. Margaret was born in Russia on August 24, 1919, the 15th and youngest child of Peter and Katharina Riediger. In 1926, she, with her family, immigrated to Canada, arriving in Acme, AB. After a brief time in the Sunnyslope area, they moved to the Oxley Ranch west of Stavely and later to a farm near Vauxhall.

LAVONNA “VONNIE” RIRIE, beloved wife of Mr. Jim Plunet of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the age of 74 years. She is survived by her children; Robert (Mary Anne) Ririe of Medicine Hat, Deb Powlesland (Mike Gray) of Calgary, Valerie (Peter) Kubassek of Listowel, ON and Donna (Ward) Henry of Raymond, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

RITA ALBRECHT, beloved wife of Michael Albrecht of Milk River, passed away peacefully at the Milk River Hospital on Monday, August 6, 2007 at the age of 79 years. Rita was born in Calgary, Alberta on June 11, 1928. She lived and was educated in Milk River, Pincher Creek and Medicine Hat. She worked and taught in Iron Springs and at the Hutterville Colony. She and Mike were married in 1948 and moved to Vancouver for 2 years; they were married for 53 years.

RITA PEDERSEN, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at the age of 98 years. She is survived by her son Walter (Marsha), her grandchildren Chris Pedersen (Cindy and Jessica) of Calgary, Bob Pedersen (Brayden) of Lethbridge, her sisters Hattie Gane of Central Butte, SK., Alma Higgins of Moose Jaw SK., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Chris Pedersen and several sisters and brother.

RITA MARY SHAW, beloved wife of Alex Shaw of Lethbridge, passed away at St, Michael’s Care Centre after a short battle with Cancer on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Besides her loving husband Alex, she is survived by three children; Chris (Jim) Beckman and their children Michael and Catherine, Dale (Ruth) Adamson and their children Gregory, Lauren, Sarah and John, Warren (Stacey) Adamson and their children Daniel and Lisa.
