PURVES, DIANNE
On September 18, 1943 I entered the land of the dying, and on September 11, 2011 I entered the land of the living.
Dianne Purves, beloved wife of Tony Purves, surrounded by her loved ones passed away at the age of 67 at the Chinook Regional Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her children: Sherry (Crooks) and Jerry Smith of Coaldale, Don Crooks of Calgary, Todd Crooks and Becky Oler of Coalhurst, and Danny and Charlene Crooks of Okotoks; her sisters, Evelyn Orsten (Rick) of Edmonton, Francis Irvine (Wayne) of Lethbridge, Wendy Westergreen of Lethbridge, and brother, Larry Myers (Rose) of Coaldale; as well, she is survived by her grandchildren: Steven Smith, Kimberly Smith, and Joshua Smyth.
