DANIEL PHOEBUS, beloved husband of 20 years to Debbie Phoebus, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the age of 57 years. Daniel was a loving father to his children: Kyle (April), Michyla (Rob), Jenna, Travis, Brittney (Phil) and Adam (Alyssa). He was a proud grandfather to Ayla and Natalia Kerr and Payton, Ethan, Mattie and Jordyn Phoebus. Daniel was predeceased by his father Daniel Sr.

PHYLLIS MURRAY, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away suddenly with her beloved great granddaughter Jade, on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the age of 66 years. She is survived by her loving sons and daughters, Jackie Klassen (Ben) of Lethbridge; Aaron Larson (Lana) of Lethbridge; and Angela Davison (Peter) of Medicine Hat; by her grandchildren Christine (Jerry) of Lethbridge; Peter (Simone) of Spirit River; Nicole of Medicine Hat; Toni of Medicine Hat; Patrick of Lethbridge; and Darren of Lethbridge; and by her great grandchildren, Austin, Jami and Tatum.

LOREN CLAIR PIERCE, beloved husband of Edna Leona (Smith), passed away on Friday, April 29th, 2011 at the age of 78 years. In recent years, Loren struggled with dementia related to Alzheimer’s Disease and had been a resident at the Health Care Center in Coaldale, Alberta. Loren leaves behind children, John Richard (wife Shirley), Margaret Ellen (husband Glen Ingram) and Elizabeth Ann (husband Robert Lee). Loren is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sisters Tirzha (Marklund), Elizabeth (Richards) and brothers John and Dale as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

RETA GLEE PIERSON née GASSER March 28, 1919 - April 5, 2011 Six days after her 92nd birthday, long-time Lethbridge resident Reta Pierson passed away quietly following a long illness on the evening of Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Reta spent most of her childhood at Hartell in the rural landscape of her family’s farm near High River. A sturdy log cabin, hand-constructed by her father and Uncle Roy Anderson, sheltered the family from the extremes of Alberta winters.

ALICE LUELLA PIERSON of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the age of 87 years. She was the loving mother of; Dennis (Judy) Brooks, Diane (Bryan) Bates, John (Barb) Melvin, Walter Jr. (Leanne) Melvin, one daughter in law Catherine Brooks, nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son Donald Brooks. Cremation and a private family gathering will be held.

BEVERLY PIERSON, beloved companion of Rick Fedorwick, of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2011 in her family’s home in Picture Butte, AB. Bev was born on March 10, 1958 in Lethbridge, AB, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Keith Pierson. They had three children: Scott, Treena, and Troy. In 1993, Bev moved to the Crowsnest Pass and worked many different jobs. The one she treasured the most was Bill and Shirley Sara’s bed and breakfast.

PIETER (PIET) SYTSMA, of Lethbridge, AB, beloved husband of Jennie Sytsma, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the age of 92 years. “O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You.” Psalm 84:12 Piet was predeceased by Wipkje, their infant daughter, in 1948. Besides his loving wife of 69 years, Piet is survived by his children John (Ineke) Sytsma, Gerry (Flo) Sytsma, Richard (Jean) Sytsma, Barbara (Harry) Halma, Weltje (John) Gouw, Wynne (Uilke) Bouwman, Wilma (Andy) Van Biert, Rita (Harry) Brouwer, and Jim (Deb) Sytsma.

ORVILLE JOHN PIKE, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 14th, 2016 at the age of 91 years. Orville is survived by his children: Sheila (Landy) Esau, Gary (Julie) Pike and Randy (Arlene) Pike, grandchildren: Lindsay (Robb) Engen, Devon Pike, Derek (Cherise) Pike and Amanda Pike, great grandchildren: Rowyn and Elia Engen and Kailey and Sadie Pike. Orville was predeceased by his wife Mildred in 2013.

Robert "Bob" Johnson Pinkerton, 78, passed away May 22, 2015. Bob had a passion for living, innovative thinking and meeting new challenges. He's known to some as having built the first California style hot rod in Lethbridge and as an accomplished stock car racer. Beginning his career as a licensed heavy duty diesel mechanic he pioneered most of his knowledge and experience overseas within the offshore refinement industry which allowed him (and family) to live and travel abroad.
