BIR BAHADUR POUDEL passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the age of 85 years. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. with cremation to follow.

RHONDA ISABEL PAYNE, of Lethbridge, passed away on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017, at the age of 55 years after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She is survived by sons, Wes (Amy) Payne of Fort Saskatchewan, Chris Payne of Fort Saskatchewan, daughter, Amanda (Chris) Payne of Hinton, four grandchildren, Brandon Parker, Brydon Payne, Alyanna Payne and Bentley Payne, her mother, Isabella Kana of Coaldale, sister, Rita (Keith) Longacre of Millet, brother, Greg (Brenda) Kana of Calgary, as well as nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

GUY ANTHONY POMAHAC, of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the age of 61 years, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Guy was a life-long educator, serving for 32 years in the Lethbridge School District, where he taught Science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics), Physical Education, Career and Technology Studies, At-Risk Alternative Education and a variety of Option Programs.

ELIZABETH ANN PLAXTON, a strong, active Roman Catholic, a loving mother and wife of 51+ years, passed away on July 27, 2017 surrounded by her husband, three sons and their wives. The grandchildren and daughter and husband were able to participate in the Vigil, Funeral Mass and Interment in Kelowna, BC. A Memorial Celebration of her faith, life, caring and respect for others will be held in the OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION HALL - 2405 12th Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 1:00 P.

EDNA MARIE PERRON, beloved wife of the late Arcadius Wilfrid Perron of St. Norbert, MB, passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre, on Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 at the age of 98 years. Edna is lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Karen McDonald and children Leah and Luc of Beausejour, MB; son Richard (Jonina Ewart) Perron and children Freya, Nia and Sophia of Winnipeg, MB; daughter Michelle (Donald Lussier) Perron and children Marc and Laura of Lethbridge, AB; son Gilbert (Tracey Evers) Perron and children Rachelle, Anna and David of Lethbridge, AB; and daughter Lise-Marie (Andrew) Fox and children Thomas, Danielle and Ben of Lethbridge, AB.

THORA MAE PERRY beloved wife of the late Walter Perry of Lethbridge, passed away at the Good Samaratin's Society - West Highlands on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the age of 89 years. She is the loving mother of: Grant (Sheryl) Perry of Lethbridge and Debbie White of Sherwood Park. Thora is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, her brother: Lamont (Doreen) Gygi and numerous nieces and nephews.

DOUG PETHERBRIDGE passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2017 after 94 years of a hardworking, productive life. His memorial will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 2:30 at MCKILLOP UNITED CHURCH, 2329 - 15th Avenue South, Lethbridge. No flowers please, but donations to McKillop's "Grow the Dream" fund would be welcome.

DAVID ARTHUR PAUL PACAUD passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at the age of 62 years. David is survived by his son Matthew of Calgary, his brother Warren (Bonnie) of Calgary, his sister Claire Mose (Sidney) of Calgary and brother Harold (Harry) of Edmonton. He is also survived by nephews Phil (Haley) and Brad of Vancouver, nieces Ashley and Lindsey of Edmonton. He was also great uncle to Charley and Caden of Vancouver.

EDGAR JOSEPH ELPHEGE PRIV?, beloved husband of Verna Priv?, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the age of 76 years. GERALDINE GENEVIEVE PARFITT, beloved daughter of the late Maurice & Mary Helene, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge, on Friday, December 2nd, 2016. She is survived by her sisters: Helen Byrne and Jock Carpenter. Gerri was predeceased by sisters: Kathleen Wilkinson, Frances Webb and Alice Thom and by her baby brother Maurice.
