It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of MS. CYNTHIA "CINDY" GRACE OLD SHOES (KIPIITAA'KII) on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the age of 54 years. Cindy is survived by her parents, John & Holly Old Shoes, her children, Candace (Tyler), Amanda (Bert) and Cody (Crystal) Old Shoes, her nine grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Jayden, Hannah, Rylyn, Trayton, Evans, Jolene, Kyra, Joseph and Zoey and her godson, Dwight Many Bears.

DONALD OATES, of Lethbridge, AB passed away peacefully on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton at the age of 92. Don was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on Nov 9, 1925. He came to Alberta in the winter of 1942 and went to work in Pearce, AB with his father. In 1943, he moved to Lethbridge, to be with the rest of his family. In 1952, Don married Marion (Mollie).

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of BILL OLEKSY at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Left to mourn is? Jennie, his wife of 63 years (to whom he was a fantastic loving partner); son Brent (Jamie), grandchildren Rick, Jody (Craig) and great-grandchildren Tesla, Nolan, Calder; daughter, Brenda (Bob) and grandson Chase; and youngest son, Barton (Criselda) and granddaughter Katya.

ELAINE PHYLLIS ODEGARD, of Picture Butte, beloved wife of the late Arnold Odegard, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the age of 74 years. She is the loving mother of Grant (Colleen Hankinson) Odegard of Lethbridge and Carolyn (Russ) Wlad of Red Deer. She will be lovingly remembered by her grand-daughters Carley, Robyn and Regan Wlad. Elaine is also survived by her brother Allan Egland and nieces, nephews and many great life-long friends.

A. EARL OSTERBERG, of Lethbridge, passed away with his family at his side on Tuesday, December 26th, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Earl was predeceased by his parents, Louis & Mary Osterberg, one sister, Wava Smith, and his devoted wife of 37 years Edna. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Sandra; one son, Ron of Lethbridge, daughters, Linda Osterberg of Calgary and Donna (Steve) Derowin of Victoria, B.

ARNOLD CHESTER ODEGARD, of Picture Butte, AB, beloved husband of 54 years to Elaine Odegard, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the St. Michael's Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the age of 74 years. He is the loving father of Grant Odegard (Colleen Hankinson) of Lethbridge and Carolyn (Russ) Wlad of Red Deer. He will always be remembered by his granddaughters: Carley, Robyn and Regan Wlad.

ALBERT JOHN OOMS, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Ria Ooms, passed away peacefully at the Coaldale Health Centre on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Albert is survived by his children, John (Bernice) Ooms of Edmonton, Richard (Deb) Ooms of Lethbridge and Joanne (Peter) Walls of Lacombe as well as 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Albert was predeceased by his father, mother, four brothers and one sister.

MARGARET LORRAINE OBRIGEWITCH (nee Bolander) passed away on August 25, 2017 at the age of 80 at the St. Michaels Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit. She was born on January 5, 1937 in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. Margaret is survived by her husband of 60 years Anton "Tony" Obrigewitch, and her children Sandra (Richard) Rainkie, Michael Obrigewitch, Robert (Kathy) Obrigewitch, Carol (Scott) Earl, and James (Sharon) Obrigewitch, and grandchildren Kaitlin, Adam, Erin, Thomas, Carla, Justin, Jacob and Jenna, and great grandchildren Khyla and Oliver.

BRIGITTE AGNES OUELLETTE passed away in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the age of 52 years. She was born on May 1, 1964 to Donat and Marie Ouellette in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. The second youngest of seven children, Brigitte will be forever missed by her siblings Louiselle (Wayne Shannon) of Grand Falls, NB, Jean-Yves Ouellette of Fernie, BC, Pauline (Paul Madore), Michel (Nicole Leblanc), Mario (Solange Desjardin), Zoel (Monic Murchison), all of Grand Falls, NB.

NEELTJE OVINGE, beloved wife of the late Thomas Ovinge, passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Health Centre, in Lethbridge on Thursday February 2, 2017 at the age of 92. Nell is lovingly remembered by her five children, Rita (Jim) Span, John (Gerri) Ovinge, Casey (Pearl) Ovinge, Audrey (Harry) Stigter and Tom (Shirley) Ovinge, son-in-law Hans Vant Land as well as 22 grandchildren and their spouses, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
