Mrs. Teresa Colette Pittman passed away Sunday December 6, 2009 at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital, at the age of 87 years. Teresa was born on September 18, 1922 in Lethbridge, Alberta. After graduating from Normal School in 1942, she married her husband, Charles Pittman. She taught school in Grand Prairie, Diamond City, Prince George, BC and Calgary, and later obtained her BA in Education at University of Calgary. As much a student as she was a teacher, she enjoyed learning French and Spanish during her retirement.

MRS. THERESA COSGROVE beloved wife of the late Mr. Harvey Cosgrove of Lethbridge. passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the age of 90 years. She is the loving mother of Beverley (Doug) Pickell of Lethbridge and Valarie Caffet of Lethbridge. She also leaves to mourn her loss; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, her brother Andrew Galambos of Victoria, B.C. and sister Evelyn Burkatsky of Kelowna, B.

MRS. VALERIE PATRICIA FERGUSON beloved wife of Mr. Elwood Ferguson of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, January 1, 2010 at the age of 74 years. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by: Robert (Sharon) Ferguson of Red Deer, Michael Ferguson of Lethbridge, Barry Ferguson of Lethbridge and Sandra (Kelvin) Fortney of Red Deer. Valerie is also survived by her 9 Grandchildren: Adam, Jared, Alannah, Robert, Tyler, Kenzie, Dayton, Kirt and Alex, and one great grand child Ashton.

MR. ALFRED MUELLER, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Elsie Mueller, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, November 29, 2010 at the age of 94 years. Alfred is survived by his son Karl (Susan) of Lethbridge, daughter Eva of Calgary, three grandchildren; Christopher (Jennifer), Markus (Devonee) and Martina (Collin) and great grandchildren; Trinity, Taytum, Torey and Anna. Alfred was predeceased by his mother and father Amalia and Emanuel Mueller.

Sadly, we announce that EDWARD LORENZ MUELLER passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the age of 78. Ed is survived by his daughters Sherry Mueller-Kerber and Lori Brown (Greg Hatfield) as well as his loving grandchildren: Tiara Mueller (Steve), Brandi Kerber, Mike and Tony Brown and his little pixie, great granddaughter, Legacy Leanne Kerber. He is also survived by his brother George (Viola) Mueller and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was born in Prince Rupert, BC, on May 18, 1915. Frances is survived by her children: Cecil (Miki) Murakami of Lethbridge, Maxin (Patrick) Bruce of Calgary, and Wendy Peake of Lethbridge; grandchildren Mark (Shelley) Murakami of Calgary, Scott (Debbie) Murakami of Lethbridge, Axel Bruce of Calgary and Sarah-Jane Bruce of Calgary; three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

MURIEL FATH, beloved wife of Harvey Fath, of Lethbridge, formerly of Champion, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Besides her loving husband of 57 years, she is survived by her children Brian (Kay) of Champion, Dianne (Jim) Isaak of Lethbridge, Wayne (Sharon) of Lethbridge and Gary (Kim) of Lacombe, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by Harvey’s family; Helen Strauss, Philip (Kaye) Fath, Robert (Joyce) Fath and Allan (Pat) Fath.

MURPHY, MARGARET ADRIENNE

MARGARET ADRIENNE MURPHY, died peacefully in Lethbridge on Friday, December 9, 2011. Born in Leeds, England, Adrienne moved to Canada as a young child with her parents Dr. and Mrs. John Bower and her three sisters. She settled in Lethbridge as a young adult and later moved to Vulcan where she raised her family. Adrienne was active in the community pioneering Adult Education in rural southern Alberta communities. As a result, she served as an advisor to the Alberta Minister of Advanced Education and was appointed to the University of Calgary Senate.
