Kim Uytdewilligen, born June 20, 1963, passed away at home on Sunday, December 27, 2009 after a valiant effort for life. Kim was a compassionate, and thoughtful woman who loved her family, friends and animal companions. She had a passion for travel, cooking and entertaining and held a black belt in shopping. She loved family vacations with “her boys”, Andrew and Ryan. Kim fought many health problems in her 46 years, and handled them with courage and grace.

PETERS MARGARET JOSEPHINE PETERS, beloved wife of the late Leander (Leo) Peters, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at the Edith Cavell Care Centre at the age of 86 years. Margaret leaves to mourn her passing; daughters Vangie (Jack) Heynen, Ruth (Auke) Elzinga and Faye Lothian; grandchildren Candice Elzinga (Shane Connelly), Dana (Gavin) McCaffrey, Jeff Heynen (Parisa Rezaiefar), Sarah Heynen (Warren Brown), Matthew (Tamalynn) Lothian, Lisa Lothian, David (Tara) Lothian and seven great grandchildren.

MRS. MARY “LYNN” LAMBERT beloved wife of Mr. Ray Lambert of Lethbridge, AB. passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the age of 66 years. Lynn was the loving mother of Ron (Val) Lambert and Bob (Joanne) Lambert both of Lethbridge. Besides her loving husband and children, Lynn leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her precious grandchildren, Cynthia and Rob Lambert of Lethbridge; her brother, Jim Burroughs (Cheri) of Bakersfield, California; her sisters-in-law, Helene (Peter) Davey of Nanaimo, B.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of MRS. NITA RETZLER, at the age of 88 years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Chinook Regional Hospital. Mom was predeceased by her husband Mr. Robert F. Retzler, and grandson Robbie Burton. Left to mourn are her daughters Berny (Rick) Vaile and Sheila (Bob) Burton, grandchildren Rick Jr. (Tracey) Vaile, Cindy (Troy) Gibson, Pierrette (Dave) Burton, and Paul (Wendy) Burton, great-grandchildren Nicole, Kimberly, Micheal Vaile, Alexandra, Jessica Gibson, Matthew, Samantha Burton, Xylin, and Jayden Burton.

It is with great sadness that the family of CHARLY (RAECHELLE LEE) BIG THROAT announces her passing at the Cardston Hospital on Friday, November 27, 2009 at the age of 32 years. Charly is survived by her daughter Victoria Chief Body; her special friend and companion Rudy Heavy Shields; her mom Pam Big throat and Colin Many Fingers, and dad Adolph Young Pine; her siblings; Emma, Sonya, Cheryl, Russell, Lisa, Amanda and Nolin; nephews Josh, Zack, Nicholas, Brandon and Gabriel, and niece Jasmine; and her grandmother Elizabeth Big Throat.

Mrs. Teresa Colette Pittman passed away Sunday December 6, 2009 at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital, at the age of 87 years. Teresa was born on September 18, 1922 in Lethbridge, Alberta. After graduating from Normal School in 1942, she married her husband, Charles Pittman. She taught school in Grand Prairie, Diamond City, Prince George, BC and Calgary, and later obtained her BA in Education at University of Calgary. As much a student as she was a teacher, she enjoyed learning French and Spanish during her retirement.

MRS. THERESA COSGROVE beloved wife of the late Mr. Harvey Cosgrove of Lethbridge. passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the age of 90 years. She is the loving mother of Beverley (Doug) Pickell of Lethbridge and Valarie Caffet of Lethbridge. She also leaves to mourn her loss; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, her brother Andrew Galambos of Victoria, B.C. and sister Evelyn Burkatsky of Kelowna, B.

MRS. VALERIE PATRICIA FERGUSON beloved wife of Mr. Elwood Ferguson of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, January 1, 2010 at the age of 74 years. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by: Robert (Sharon) Ferguson of Red Deer, Michael Ferguson of Lethbridge, Barry Ferguson of Lethbridge and Sandra (Kelvin) Fortney of Red Deer. Valerie is also survived by her 9 Grandchildren: Adam, Jared, Alannah, Robert, Tyler, Kenzie, Dayton, Kirt and Alex, and one great grand child Ashton.

MRS. VERA LILLIAN McCOY beloved wife of the late Mr. Jack McCoy of Lethbridge, passed away at the Good Samaritans Society North, on Tuesday, December 24th, 2009 at the age of 95 years. A private family service will be held at a later date.

MR. ALFRED MUELLER, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Elsie Mueller, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, November 29, 2010 at the age of 94 years. Alfred is survived by his son Karl (Susan) of Lethbridge, daughter Eva of Calgary, three grandchildren; Christopher (Jennifer), Markus (Devonee) and Martina (Collin) and great grandchildren; Trinity, Taytum, Torey and Anna. Alfred was predeceased by his mother and father Amalia and Emanuel Mueller.
