MOCH, DUANE MICHAEL

MR. DUANE MICHAEL (WEINER) MOCH, beloved son of Peter and Linda of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly on December 31, 2010 at the age of 37 years. Duane is predeceased by his grandparents Peter and Doris Gatner. Besides his loving parents, he is survived by his children Leah and Tyler of Lethbridge, sister Nicole (James) Carefoot of Lethbridge, brother Troy Moch of Lethbridge, grandparents Gert and Margaret Moch as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

MR. BEN MOEDT, beloved husband of Mrs. Carol “Nellie” Moedt, of Lethbridge, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the age of 72 years. He is the loving father of David (Linda) Moedt of Taber, Diane Moedt (Frank Puffer) of Texas, Robert (Mary Finn) Moedt of Texas and Rodney Moedt of Texas. Grandfather to sixteen grand children and one great grandchild.

MRS. SELMA MOHRMANN of Shaughnessy, beloved wife of Willy, passed away surrounded by family on June 23, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Selma was born in Emiluwke, Ukraine on August 11, 1929 and immigrated to Canada in 1953. She resided near Picture Butte upon arriving in Canada. Selma worked hard all her life. She began hoeing sugar beets when she arrived and continued to work for farmers to help get her family established in their new home.

It is with great sadness that the family of MONTE LOU McCLUNG announce her passing on Sunday, October 6, 2013 Monte was born on December 28, 1934 in Cardston, Alberta. She enjoyed fishing, reading, puzzles, crafts and gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren - especially at their summer place in Montana. Monte married her sweetheart, James Dale McClung and together they settled in Cardston to raise six children with love, understanding and a lot of family time.

Monty leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Brenda; daughter Kim (Lee) Shirran; son Kyle; and his beloved grandsons Keegan and Davyn. Monty also leaves his mother Frances Massie; sister Brenda Jean and her daughter Ashley Van Sluys; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Mac and Heather McDonald of Calgary; brothers-in-law Myles (Sharon) McDonald of Calgary, Ross (Mary) McDonald and Troy of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Garth McDonald of Fort Macleod.

LYLE MOONEY, beloved husband of Anne Mooney, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Besides his loving wife Anne, Lyle is survived by his children Maggie (David) Fudger and Patrick Mooney, grandchildren Danielle, Samantha and Josh, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lyle is also survived by his step children Shirley (Jeff) Martin and their children, Lynne (Barry) Van Paassen and Wayne (Marie) Chomas and their children.

PHYLLIS MOORE (née Pharis) passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family at the St. Michael's Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit, on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Phyllis is survived by her husband Kenneth, children Carol (Irv) Quan, Ken (Jennifer), Keith (Lisa) and Lyle (Alecia), and grandchildren Lauren and Taylor (Erin) Quan, Mattson and Makalya Moore, Carson and Brendan Moore, and Brady Moore, as well as her brother Hilton (Alta) Pharis, sister-in-law Barb Pharis and many nieces, nephews and their families.

On March 10, 2011, VIOLET MOORE, left us at the age of 96 to join the other angels. She is survived by her loving sons Don (Terry) of Lethbridge, Brian of Edmonton, and her “other daughter” Norma Webb (Frank) of Medicine Hat. She leaves behind her three favorite grandsons, Donald (Linda) of Vernon, Brad (Marcie) of Medicine Hat, and Dave (Deanna) of Edmonton, as well as five great grandsons and two great granddaughters.

KIMIE KAY MORIYAMA passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital (Calgary) with her family at her side on April 30, 2018 at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her children Calvin and Janice. She is also survived by her sister Toshiko Hase and brother Hiroshi and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She is predeceased by her husband Kiyoshi, father Ichiji and mother Haru Urano, brothers Yoshiharu (Tamiko) and Shigetoshi (Masako), sister Shigemi (Satsuki) Nagata and Shizuka, brother-in-law Shoji Hase, sister-in law Gwen Urano and niece Christine Urano.
