MR. DONALD EARL WALKER of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Cheryl Walker, passed away at the Coaldale Health Centre on Friday, December 25, 2009 at the age of 60 years. A Service of Remembrance will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. In memory of Don, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 724 - 13th Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1H 2T1.

MR. ERIC SCHILL, beloved husband of Elaine, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, August 26th at the age of 69. Besides his loving wife, Eric is survived by his children Ed Schill of Lethbridge, Catherine (Mike) Darnell of Calgary, Brad Schill of Lethbridge, grandson Brenden Schill of Coaldale and special family member, Dan Bergen of Calgary. He is also survived by his sisters Caroline (Garth) Volk of Burdett, AB, Mary Jo (Dale) Rawleigh of Lethbridge and numerous nieces and nephews.

MR. IAN LAING beloved husband of the late Mrs. Gladys Laing, passed away at the Fort Macleod Extendicare on Monday, November 30, 2009 at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his three sons; Robert (Kim) Laing of Monarch, AB., Richard (Ela) Laing of Calgary, AB., and Doug (Mary-Lynn) Laing of Calgary, AB., and former daughter-in-law Cecille Wachal; three grandchildren; Chad (Sharon) Laing, Tim Laing, and Rodd Laing all of Lethbridge, AB.

MR. JAMES TURNER

MR. JAMES TURNER beloved husband of the late Mrs. Helen Miron Turner passed away in Lethbridge on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Jim was born in Calgary in 1922 and moved to the Lethbridge area at the age of ten. In 1940 he joined the Canadian Armed Forces. He served in the Infantry, with the Essex Scottish for five years. After the war he returned to Lethbridge, where he met and married Helen Miron in 1949.

Passed away on Sunday January 25, 2009, at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Center following a long struggle with cancer at the age of 74 years. Psalm 43:3 O send out thy light and thy truth; let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy Holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. John was the loving husband to his wife, Linda and a dear father of daughter Alice (Ken) Folkerts of Innisfail, AB, and their four children, Kristen, Kayla, Erik and Kendra; daughter Joyce (Harold) Funk of Coaldale, AB, and their two children Justin and Nathan Sharpe; son Henry John (Belle) Van Vliet of Lethbridge, AB; daughter Debbie (Darrin) Westerson of Lethbridge, AB, and their two children Dylan and Jolane.

MR. JOHN MUGFORD beloved husband of Flo of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the age of 70 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his daughter Issy (Andy), grandchildren Brett and Mercedes, special son Allan “Toad” Taylor, step-children Dave (Tashia), Tanya, BJ (Jayme), Sam (Jarett) and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Manning (Randi) Mugford and sister Shirley Ronald and three nieces and a nephew.

MR. JOSEPH (JOE) RODERICK FLYNN (March 25, 1933) passed away peacefully in his sleep, at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at the age of 76 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife Ruby, two brothers Michael and Alec, granddaughter Rizpah, and grandson Clint. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Jocelyn (John) Grant, stepchildren Emily (Alan) Douglas, Delmer (DellAnn) Jones, Melvin (Janet) Jones, Gloria (Harvey) Koetse, Yvette (Neil) Thielen, Noreen (Don) Papp, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and his loving K-9 companion Libby.

MR. PAUL KRYZANOWSKI beloved husband of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Kryzanowski, of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael’s Health Centre on Friday, December 18, 2009 at the age of 89 years. He is the loving father of son Douglas (Jean) of Lethbridge, AB., daughter Sandra (Jim Fraser) of Lethbridge, AB., and granddaughter Erin Fraser of Edmonton, AB. He is also survived by Frank Kryzanowski of Vancouver, B.C. Paul was predeceased by brothers Peter, Alec, Jim and Tony, also, sisters Anne and Nesta.

MR. PETER GAETZ beloved husband of Mrs. Margaret Gaetz of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Lynel (Carol) Gaetz of Lethbridge and Cindy (Chris) Haney of Lethbridge, three grandchildren, Cory Gaetz of Calgary, Curtis Haney of Lethbridge, and Carly-Ann Haney of Lethbridge. He is also survived by six brothers & sisters; Lena Madsen, George Gaetz, Joe (Helen) Gaetz, Kay Henning, Martha (Eddy) Wojtowicz, and Helen (William) Griffith, close friend Devi (Brian) Herman and their daughter Brianne and numerous nieces and nephews.
