It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew “Nap” Milroy, beloved husband of Lucille Milroy (nee Hill), on April 14th, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Nap is survived by his wife Lucille Lillian, to whom he was married for two weeks shy of 70 years, his daughter’s Sandra (Earl) Osterberg of Lethbridge and Barbara (Keith) Deacon of Red Deer. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Garry Watson of Tappen, B.

MR. MILTIADES (MILTO) ALEXANDROPOULOS, beloved husband of Edna Alexandropoulos of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michaels Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his children; Helen (Leo) Petsinis of Nelson, BC, Alexandra (Roger) Riley of Surrey, BC, Christos (Maureen) Alexandropoulos of Lethbridge, AB, Barbara (Dean) Solheim of Kelowna, BC, and Alexandros (Katrina) Alexandropoulos of Calgary, AB.

JOAN VESTA MILTON (nee Carefoot), of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Miriam and Claude Carefoot, brothers Keith and Jim and sister-in-law, Linda. Joan was the loving mother of Davin (Amber) of Calgary and is also survived by her sister-in-law, Terry Carefoot of Moose Jaw, several nieces and nephews and many cherished cousins.

MINNIE ANTON, beloved wife of the late John Anton passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at the age of 93. She peacefully went to sleep with her family by her side. Minnie leaves to cherish, her daughter Jacqueline (Chuck) Parker of Lethbridge, grandchildren; Billie Jo (Larry) Basque, Nicole (Scott) Phinney, Leonard (Samantha) Lloyd, Brenda (Jim) McDowell, Kevin (Shelun) Lloyd, and great grandchildren; Jordyn Basque, Tyler and Sammy Phinney, Jayden and Josh Lloyd, Karra Ann, Jillian, Ashley and Skylar McDowell and Rayann.

MR. CHRISTOPHER DAVID MINSHULL, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, June 29th, 2013 at the age of 48 years. At Chris's request, no formal funeral service will be held.

MIRANDA COOK, beloved wife of the late Bev Cook of Lethbridge, passed away at the Extendicare on Friday, February 15, 2013 at the age of 96 years. She is the loving mother of Edward and Bob of Lethbridge and Sharon (Jim) Merchant of Calgary. She is lovingly remembered by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Bev, one son Brian, 4 sisters and one brother and a daughter in law Agnes.

PEGGY MITCHELL, beloved wife of the late Bill Mitchell of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at Edith Cavell Care Centre on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her friends: Deb Ross, Brenda Piehl, Leila Wright, Karen Ostrup and Jackie Adams plus a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband William S. Mitchell in 2015. Peggy was born in London England and with her husband, immigrated to Canada in 1974.

MR. STEPHEN MITCHELL of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the age of 33 years. Stephen is survived by parents Richard and Brenda, Aunt Karen Hicks, brother in-law Mike (Danielle) Boisse, Alex, Sabrina and Edwin. Stephen had a large loving extended family - many aunts, uncles and cousins. Stephen was predeceased by his Grandparents, Uncle Glen Fisher and his sister Jennifer Karen Boisse who passed away in 2003.

MATILDA “MITZI” JOHNSON, beloved wife of the late Al Johnson of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Therese Villa in Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the age of 87 years. She is the loving sister of Joseph (Audrey) Samuels of Lethbridge, Dorothy Plattell of Lethbridge, Jennifer (Lionel) Grieve of Lethbridge, Elizabeth MacFarlay of Edmonton, William (Jennifer) Wheeler of Toronto, Evelyn (Len) Mendes of Calgary, Christine Wheeler of Calgary, Yvonne (Robert) Edwards of Medicine Hat, Richard (Sheri) Samuels of Irma, Karlyne (Carla) Samuels of Coaldale, Bylinda (William) Mason of Lethbridge, Chrislyn (Bruce) Sekiya of Edmonton, and Ben (Denise) Samuels of Edmonton.

MIYOKO (MIYO) NISHIDA, beloved wife of Walter Nishida of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on September 17th, 2008. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her children Paul of Lethbridge, Alberta; Terry (Teresa) of Chilliwack, B.C.; Maureen of Lethbridge, Alberta; Michael of Brooks, Alberta; and her grandchildren Logan and Lauren of Chilliwack B.C.
