MRS. MELVA MARY OLD SHOES - HEALY of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Joe Old Shoes, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the age of 55 years. Besides her loving husband of 39 years Joe, she is survived by her children; Johanna (Ben), Crystal (Lawrence) and Perry (Landy), adopted daughter Darlene Davis, grandchildren; Dwight, Mark, Western, Ariel, Avery, Nicholas, Shanel, Lane and twins Amber and Aden, great granddaughter Jorden, god son Kyle Old Shoes-Vielle and god daughter Amanda Gail Old Shoes.

MELVIN LEROY DUELL beloved husband of Isabel Duell passed away at the Saint Michael’s Health Centre, on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at the age of 83 years. CORNELIUS “COR” MENT, beloved partner of Terry Moses for 25 years, of Coalhurst, passed away at home on Saturday January 21, 2012 at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his twin sister Josephine (Bill) Bier, brothers Dirk Ment and Layne (Celeste) Ment, and Johnny (Betty) Ment. He was predeceased by his parents Jan and Hilda Ment, sister Betty (Herman) Woelders, and great nephew William Bier. Cor was born on November 4, 1939 in Rotterdam Holland.

HAROLD MENTANKO, husband of Carol Mentanko, of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the age of 78 years. Besides his wife he is survived by children David Mentanko of Lethbridge, Douglas (Michele) Mentanko of St. Albert, Donna (Rich) Tiefenbach of Lethbridge, Michelle (Kevin) MacMillan of Fort Macleod. Grandchildren Jeffery Mentanko, Jennifer Mentanko, Blake Mentanko, Jackson Tiefenbach, Cal Tiefenbach, Bruce Tiefenbach, Bauer Mentanko.

GEORGINA HELEN MENZIES, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, October 23rd, 2015 at the age of 65 years. She is survived by her two sons, Kenny of Coalhurst, AB and Neal of Abbotsford, BC. A private family service will be held at a later date.

MARGARET PATRICIA (PAT) MEREDITH, beloved sister of Lou (Tom) McNab of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at Cottage #5, Good Samaritan’s Park Meadows Village on Monday, March 1, 2010 at the age of 83 years. Pat is survived by her loving sister Lou, brother in law Tom McNab; aunt Jean Dunbar, niece Kim (Fred) Skura and their children Kristen and Karmyn, nephews Kirk McNab and his children Kyle and Shana, Guy (Tracy) McNab and their children Elliott, Jade and Chase.

MERILYN STELTER (KEINICK), loving wife, mother and grandmother (Grammy) passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 12, 2008 surrounded by her family. Merilyn was predeceased by her late husband Larry, and mother Genevieve. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband Norman; his children, Joy (Robert), Malcolm (Katie), Dwayne, and Jennifer. MRS. DOREEN M. MERKL, beloved wife of the late Frank N. Merkl of Lethbridge, AB, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the age of 75 years. Doreen was predeceased by her husband of forty -three years and is lovingly remembered by her children; Shelley Merkl (Gary) of Lethbridge, Dana (Martina) Merkl of Lethbridge, Bernie Merkl of Vancouver and Coreen (Bill) Warnock of Iron Springs, as well as grandchildren; Char-Lene (Michael) Dyck, Sean Merkl (Debbie), Jeremiah (Carolyn) Merkl, Christopher Merkl, Corey Merkl, Jim Warnock (Brandie), Taylor Merkl, Wade Warnock, Kendal Merkl (Andrew), Christy Warnock, Mackenzie Merkl (Bryan), Melissa Merkl, and Jordan Plettl as well as great-grandchildren Bailey, Carson and Brennan Dyck, Morgan Merkl, Austyn Wright and Devon Warnock.
