PATRICIA MAY MARYANCIK, beloved wife of the late John "Budd" Maryancik, passed away peacefully with her loving son and daughter-in-law at her side at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Patricia is survived by her son Paul (Valerie), son Phil, daughter Roxanne (Bob), sister Frances (Joe) Vanderbeek as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she took great pride in and loved it when they would come and visit.

ELIZABETH MARGARET MASNYK, beloved wife of the late Simon "Sam" Masnyk of Coalhurst passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the age of 77 years. She is the loving mother to two sons Andy (Holly) and Danny (Lorena) and a daughter in law Shirley Masnyk. She is also survived by her pride and joy, her grandchildren Kerri, Nicole, (Leigh), Spencer, Marissa (Colin), Justin and great granddaughter Sophia.

MATILDA GROFF

Matilda ‘Tillie’ Groff passed away on July 4, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Tillie was born on November 2, 1921, in Argyle, MB and grew up in Neelin, MB, where she attended school. She married Roy Groff on October 2, 1938. Together they farmed in Mather, MB until 1955 when the family moved to Yellowknife, NWT, and later moved to Hay River, NWT. After retirement Tillie and Roy resided in Keremeous, BC and in 1991 moved to Lethbridge, AB to live with their son Victor.

Mr. RICHARD MATIS, beloved husband of Helen Matis of Coaldale, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on Friday, December 10 after a lengthy illness. Besides his loving wife, Helen , Richard is survived by his children Ken Matis of Coaldale and Dennis (Sylvia) Matis of Lethbridge and two granddaughters: Melissa and Sierra Matis. He is also survived by one sister Elvira (Albert) Penner and two brothers - Herb (Helga) Matis and Rudy Matis.

James Andrew Matisz, beloved husband of Beverly, of Coaldale passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the age of 66 years with his loving family at his side. He is the loving father of Barbara (Kim) of Bow Island, Michael (Elizabeth) of Lethbridge, Roberta (Mark) of Coaldale; three grandchildren, Mikayla, Sean, and Kierra. He is also survived by three brothers, Don (Alice), Bob (Sandy), and Doug (Ava), and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many beloved friends.

IRENE MATLAS, beloved wife of Peter Matlas of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly after a lengthy illness, at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the age of 62 years. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by two grandchildren, Kira and Savannah Davoren, one brother, Henry (Jean) Kazala of Lethbridge, their family as well as numerous other relatives in Canada and Poland. Irene was predeceased by her parents Stan and Anna Szumlas.

MATLOCK 12 August 1920 ~ 18 August 2010 MRS. MARGARET ROSALEEN MATLOCK (NEE FITZSIMMONS), of Lethbridge, passed away at the Lethbridge Extendicare on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the age of 90 years. Marg leaves to mourn her three children Pat (Don) Demers, John Matlock, and Tim Matlock. Also missing her will be nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, one brother Allen Fitzsimmons and one sister Agnes Westlake. She is predeceased by her husband Jesse Matlock in 1987, two brothers and two sisters.

EILEEN MAY MATTEOTTI of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the age of 74 years. Eileen was the beloved mother of Jack (Debra Watson) Matteotti of San Francisco, Sherry Matteotti of Lethbridge, Rick Matteotti of Lethbridge, Monte Matteotti of New York, and grandmother of Sara and Chelsey Matteotti of Kelowna, BC. She is also survived by her sister Divina Segboer in Salmon Arm, BC.

MATTHEW PROUDFOOT

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of MATTHEW MACKENZIE PROUDFOOT, wonderful son of Jeffery and Charmaine and dear brother of Tiffany, on Thursday January 15, 2009 at the age of 25 years. Matthew was born in Lethbridge on March 13, 1983. He attended his early years of schooling in Lethbridge before attending Upper Canada College in Toronto, graduating in 2001 from Catholic Central. Matthew then attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton with a semester at the University of Dundee, Scotland before graduating in 2006 from U of A with a degree in Business.
