Martina Watchel beloved wife of the late Florian Watchel passed away peacefully at Edith Cavell Care Centre on Tuesday February 11, 2014 at the age of 72 years. Martina leaves to cherish her memory, her son Shawn (Jenny), granddaughter JoAnna, 7 sisters, 3 brothers and their families and numerous friends. Martina was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Anna Wist and her sister Lavina. Martina loved to bake, cook, sew, tell jokes, play her guitar and sing.

PETERSON MARY YVONNE “EVE” PETERSON, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre, on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the age of 59 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Besides her loving husband Reg, she is survived by her children Josie Doll (Mike) of Medicine Hat and Kim Peterson of Vancouver as well as her grandchildren Mikka Doll (6) and Christian Doll (3).

MARY ALEXANDROVICH, beloved wife of the late Fabian Alexandrovich, passed away at the Edith Cavell Nursing Home with her family at her side on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Mary was born on a homestead in Saskatchewan and raised and educated in Coaldale where she met and married her husband Fabian. They lived in several small towns in Southern Saskatchewan and Alberta before retiring in Lethbridge in 1974.

MARY PATRICIA ALLAN-COX, beloved wife of Monte, passed away in Lethbridge, on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the age of 63 years. Besides her loving husband she is survived by her daughter Carrie (Brent) Trout of Delia, AB., Corporal Andrew Capobianco of Trenton, ON., and her beautiful grandchildren Thomas, Autumn and Brooke. She is also survived by Monte’s daughters and their families. Mary was born in Cardston, AB. to Andrew William Allan, Government Area Veterinarian and his wife Dorothy Desilets McAlpine Allan, teacher.

MARY ANN SCHWENGLER, beloved wife of John Schwengler of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the age of 69 years. She is survived by her husband John Schwengler, Daughters Tammy (Grant) Hillingsworth and Tricia (Jerry) Davey of Sundre AB., Son Terry (Marci) Schwengler of Lethbridge and all of her grandchildren Jamie, Jay, Emily, Abigail, Joel, Carter and Riley. She is also survived by her brother Joe (Cathy) Fifik of White Rock BC.

MARY ETHEL BAIRD (NEE ROHALY), of Lethbridge passed away at home on March 29th, 2013 at the age of 76 years. She is survived by son Richard Emery, daughters Michele (Brad) Jones and Nancy (Bruce) Smith, grandchildren Richard Emery and Michael Emery, and her great-grandchild Hayden Emery. She is also survived by her brother Andrew (Louise) Rohaly, her dear lifelong friend Vi Hickman, as well as numerous friends, nieces, and nephews.

MARY-JANE MAY BLOCK (nee Rose) of Milk River, passed away with family at her side at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Left to cherish her precious memory are; her beloved husband of 52 years, Henry, daughters Deborah (Scott) Dalton and Gwen (Rick) Chamberlain, 3 grandchildren, Erin, Ryan (Lindsey) and Taylor, her special sister Mickey and brothers Don, Bill (Cheryl) and Monte as well as a multitude of nieces & nephews; her ‘hoodlums’.

Mary Bodie, of Coaldale, beloved wife of the late Alex Bodie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept 11, 2013 at the age of 87. Mary is survived by her three children and their families: Monica (Ken) Kearns of Lethbridge, Janice (Ken) McLaughlin of Kelowna, and Robert (Susan) Bodie of Coaldale; grandchildren Barrett (Eisha) Kearns and their son Nicholas, of Lethbridge, Bonnie Kearns of United Arab Emirates, Tiffany DeCecco of Calgary, Kristopher McLaughlin of Kelowna, Kevin and Kim McLaughlin and their son Mason of Lethbridge, Kyle McLaughlin (Morgan Freeman) of Airdrie, Colten, Mackenzie, and Ashley Bodie of Coaldale and sister-in-law Jolane Sekura of Taber.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom, grandmother and great grandmother MRS. MARY ANN BRECKA. Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Brentwood Nursing Home, Calgary on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the age of 81 years. Mary is survived by her daughter Karen (Vic) Willms of Calgary, granddaughters Delanie (Stefan) Cerkvenac and Raelene (Damon) Formos and two beautiful twin grandsons Karsten and Keagen all of Calgary.

MRS. MARY COOK (nee Mecz), beloved wife of the late Aaron Cook, passed away at the Extendicare in Lethbridge on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the age of 98 years. Mary came to Canada from Hungary at the age of 20 years. She married Aaron Cook on November 23, 1930 and they lived in the Coaldale area. Through the years they also lived in Rosedale Ferry, East Coulee and New Dayton, finally settling in Lethbridge.
