Mary Bodie, of Coaldale, beloved wife of the late Alex Bodie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept 11, 2013 at the age of 87. Mary is survived by her three children and their families: Monica (Ken) Kearns of Lethbridge, Janice (Ken) McLaughlin of Kelowna, and Robert (Susan) Bodie of Coaldale; grandchildren Barrett (Eisha) Kearns and their son Nicholas, of Lethbridge, Bonnie Kearns of United Arab Emirates, Tiffany DeCecco of Calgary, Kristopher McLaughlin of Kelowna, Kevin and Kim McLaughlin and their son Mason of Lethbridge, Kyle McLaughlin (Morgan Freeman) of Airdrie, Colten, Mackenzie, and Ashley Bodie of Coaldale and sister-in-law Jolane Sekura of Taber.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom, grandmother and great grandmother MRS. MARY ANN BRECKA. Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Brentwood Nursing Home, Calgary on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the age of 81 years. Mary is survived by her daughter Karen (Vic) Willms of Calgary, granddaughters Delanie (Stefan) Cerkvenac and Raelene (Damon) Formos and two beautiful twin grandsons Karsten and Keagen all of Calgary.

MRS. MARY COOK (nee Mecz), beloved wife of the late Aaron Cook, passed away at the Extendicare in Lethbridge on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the age of 98 years. Mary came to Canada from Hungary at the age of 20 years. She married Aaron Cook on November 23, 1930 and they lived in the Coaldale area. Through the years they also lived in Rosedale Ferry, East Coulee and New Dayton, finally settling in Lethbridge.

MARY ELLINGSON, wife of the late Hans Ellingson, passed away quietly, Saturday, June 13, 2009, at Extendicare in Lethbridge at the age of 91. Mary was born in Lethbridge on November 6, 1917 to the late Abramo and Bertha (Baceda) Pozzebon. Mary attended St. Basil’s school. At the age of 11 she spent 13 months in Italy with her parents before returning home to Canada. She continued her education until the end of grade 7 when she left school to enter the workforce.

It is with extreme sorrow we are announcing the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Mary, beloved wife of the late Issac Funk, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Sunday, February 22, 2009. Mary is survived by her daughters, Karen Pierson, Maxine (Jesse) Brooks and son Warren (Brenda) Funk all of Lethbridge, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by Ike, her loving husband of 49 years; infant daughter Wanda; son Donovan; grandson Jesse; her parents Aron and Anne Neustaeter, her brother John; and her son in law, Brian Pierson.

MRS. MARY GILCHRIST, beloved wife of the late Mr. Alexander “Alastair” Gilchrist of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at her home, in Lethbridge, AB, on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the age of 82 years. She is the loving mother of Victoria (David) Limpert of Okotoks, grandson Drayden Limpert, two granddaughters Tabatha Limpert of Okotoks, and Sarah Gilchrist of Coaldale. She is also survived by two brothers Joe (Leona) Baczuk of Milk River, Louis (Patty) Baczuk of Milk River, four sisters; Magdelene Baczuk of Milk River, Bertha (Jim) Culver of Lethbridge, Lauretta (Art) Kalau of Lethbridge, and Caroline (Ed) Makarenko of Red Deer.

MARY HANNAN, born February 9, 1922, passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritans Society Park Meadows, on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the age of 91 years. She had resided in Golden Acres for the past seven years where she received excellent care. Mary is the loving mother of Ross (Beth) Hannan and their son Mitch (Cinn) Hannan as well as grandchildren Brent (Karen) Hannan, Jody (Brad) Keim, and 4 great grandchildren.

MRS. MARY ELIZABETH HAYES, beloved wife of the late Joseph Hayes of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the age of 92 years. Mary is lovingly remembered by her two sons; William George (Lorraine) Hayes of Lethbridge and Sidney Wayne (Marion) Hayes of Grandview, MB, four granddaughters and nine great grandchildren. Mary was born on March 3, 1916 in Dauphin, MB to parents Charles Shorland and Emily E.

MARY ISABELLA MACLEAN passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 91. Mary was born on June 30, 1918 in the sandstone house on the family farm near Monarch, AB. During the Second World War, Mary was employed by the R.C.A.F. as a parachute packer at Pearce, High River and Edmonton. In 1958 she moved to Lethbridge, and worked in several pharmacies including: the El Rancho, Draffins, and finally Skelton’s for twenty years.

She is survived by her daughters, Samantha Garnet, Sarah, Naomi, Selena and Jasmine; brothers, Jake Nadeau, Shane Pantherbone, Gillian Tallow; sisters, Christine Nadeau, Emily Bull Child, Necia Pantherbone; her mother, Garnet Emelia Nadeau; very special friends Leon Lafond of Edmonton, the Bull Child, Tallow, Big Bull, Steele, North Peigan, Mills, Bird and Wolfe Plume, Bad Arm and Tokohopie families.
