MARGARET BODELL

MARGARET BODELL of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late George Carey Bodell, passed away in her sleep on April 7, 2013 at the Edith Cavell Nursing Centre, at the age of 93 years. Margaret was born on August 20, 1919 to Charles and Annie Oates in Sheffield, England. In 1923 they made their home in Regina. In 1942, the family moved to Lethbridge where she has lived until her passing.

After a courageous battle with Alzheimer's, it is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of MARGARET (GRETA) DUNLOP on March 29th, 2014. Greta was born February 17th, 1933 in Stirling, Scotland. In 1957, Greta left the bonnie banks of Scotland with her husband Forrest and sailed to the wild west of Canada for a better life. Over many years of hard work on the farm on Sunnyside Road, working as an LPN in Lethbridge and raising six children, they created the life they had envisioned.

Margaret Emma Krywolt of Lethbridge AB passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on October 29, 2009 at the age of 90 years, predeceased by her ever, greatly loved husband Edward Michael Krywolt. Left to cherish her love and memories are her children Wayne (Hazel) of Lethbridge, Arlene (Lee) Kubica of Whitehorse YT and Ward (Sheryn) of Calgary, grandchildren Russell (Michelle) Krywolt of Burnaby BC, Greg Kubica of Whitehorse and Paula Kubica of Burnaby respectively, and great grand children Duncan and Cecilia Krywolt of Burnaby.

She is survived by Karen (Mike) Melanson, Wayne (Sue) Smith, Ross Smith, Cameron (Noreen) Smith, Denise Smith, and Dave Johnston, also her grandchildren; Nicole Johnston, Jim Lawson, Valerie Sinnott, Jason Smith, Kerri Sell, Shane Smith, Scott Smith, Greg Smith, Krista Smith, Mercedes Montemurro and Merrick Montemurro, 11 great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Loretta LaValley, Louise Anderson, and Ed and Dena Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie was predeceased by her very special husband Bill A. Egan, her precious parents Holly & Bob Turnbull, her loving brother-in-law Henry Korth. She is survived by her God-Children Pat (Darren) Ramage, Vicki (Brian) Bethel, Craig (Leah) Robinson, Kelly (Ryan) Casey, several cousins.

MARGARET JOSEPHINE METCALFE was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, to Mary and Joseph Chervinski. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan J. Metcalfe in 1995. Marg will be sadly missed by her four daughters: Donna (Bill), Corrine (Doug), Bernice (Tim), and Aileen (Wes); her eight grandchildren: Rob (Tam), Suzi, Scott (Holly), Jeff (Nicole), Jud (Becky), Tina (Tim), Jennifer (Andrew) and Evan (Kathy), as well as nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and two sisters.

MARGARET KEMPENAAR, beloved wife of the late Robert (Reinder) Kempenaar, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Care Center Sunday, May 4, 2008 at the age of 92 years. Margaret was born Maaike Vander Heide in Friesland, the Netherlands on February 15, 1916 where she was raised and educated. She was the fourth child and first daughter in a family of 10. She married Robert on May 23, 1936 and had five children.

MARGARET MEIDINGER

MRS. MARGARET CAROLINE MEIDINGER (nee Cowan), died peacefully, Tuesday, March 25th, at the Calgary Foothills Medical Centre after a brief and sudden illness. She was born October 28, 1922, in Hanna, Alberta, to parents, Harry and Lena, and resided on the family ranch in the Handhills until 1941. Her sense of adventure led her to seek varied employment in Calgary, Toronto and Cranbrook. An avid sports fan and golfer, it was there at the Cranbrook Golf Course that she met her future husband Edwin when he was on holidays.
