MELFORD INGVAR KORSBERG October 31, 1922 - June 11, 2014 On Thursday, June 11, our Blue Jays fan became an angel in the outfield. MELFORD KORSBERG, our beloved Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather passed away at St. Therese Villa in the arms of his big loving family at 91 years old. Melford is the loving Father of Alana McClain (Mony), Connie-Marie Riedlhuber (Jim) and Darlene Gleason (Bill), Grandfather of Kathryn Corliss (Aaron), Danielle Erickson (Scott), Travis Riedlhuber, Adam Riedlhuber, Michelle Gleason, Cherie Harvey (Scott) and Great-Grandfather of Shirelle, Grady, Gryffyn, Jaci and Jackson.

AMANDA LEANNE MAYER passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital with family by her side on May 24, 2014. She was 30 years old. Amanda is survived by her daughters Veronica Sandoval, Nataly Sandoval, Kylie Smith and step-son Daniel Harpell-Sandoval. Her mother Gloria Mayer (Dale Batchelor), sisters Bonnie Mayer, Aideen Mayer and brother Armand John Mayer. Grandparents Evelyn & Bruce Kelman. Aunties and uncles Debbie Kelman (Barry), Gordon Kelman, David Kelman (Rosalie), Maia Kelman (Casey), and Brenna Kelman, Ethel (Garfield) McKay, Rose Mayer, Ethel (Brian - deceased) Harte, Lorraine Mayer, Nelson (Ella) Mayer, Carrie (Mike) Still, Godfather Ken McKlintok, Pam Mayer, John (Shelly) Mayer, and Maxine (Wyatt) Reinson.

MARIE LUCILLE VEDRES (February 7, 1941 - April 23, 2014) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother at the age of 73. Mom passed away peacefully at home in her sleep. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph, brothers Albert (Hanna) Groves, Arthur Groves, Maurice Groves, John (Katie) Groves, Bill (Isabel) Groves, and by her sister Lyla (Fern) Huber. She is survived by her two sons Darrell (Michelle) of Lethbridge and Rodney (Shannon) of Lethbridge, one brother Melvin (Jean) Groves of Lethbridge and a sister-in-law Elsie Groves.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Maria Barbara Herauf (nee Schmidt) passed away on April 15, 2014. She was surrounded by her family including her loving husband of 56 years, Peter. Maria was born on May 27, 1936 in Polotzk, Russia, to Maria Doetzel and Johannes Schmidt. She was the youngest of seven children. Four sisters - Katharina, Anna, Valentina and Rosa - died as children during WWII. Maria immigrated to Canada at the age of 12, in 1948, with her parents and brothers Florian and John.

MRS. MAE OSAKA, beloved wife of the late Mr. Harry Osaka, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the age of 89 years.

Mrs. Mary Rose Many Fingers beloved wife of Herbert Many Fingers passed away peacefully with her loving husband, family and friends by her side at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday March 11, 2008 at the age of 62 years.

BETTY MALO (née Johnson) was born March 22, 1933 in Kindersley, Saskatchewan where she was the youngest of five children. Betty grew up on the family farm near Beadle and later moved into town, where she finished her schooling. Betty attended the Calgary General Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1954. While in Calgary she met Patrick and they were married in 1956, raising two daughters, Jillayne and Susan.

DONNA LEE MAASAKKERS of Magrath, AB., passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the age of 65 years. A Graveside Service will be held at the MAGRATH CEMETERY (south of Magrath on the west side of Highway 62 and off of the Golf Course road), on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Brian Amison officiating.

MABEL MARGARET KORSBERG, beloved wife of 63 years to Melford Korsberg, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the age of 88 ? 1/2 years. Mabel is the loving mother of Darlene Gleasen (Bill) of Calgary; Connie-Marie Riedlhuber (Jim) of Lethbridge; Alana McClain (Mony) of Lethbridge. Mabel is survived by her sister, Elsie Nygard of Brooks. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cherie Harvey (Scott), Michele Maxwell (Darrin), Kathryn Corliss (Aaron), Danielle Erickson (Scott), Travis Riedlhuber, Adam Riedlhuber, and great grandchildren Jaci and Jackson.

DONALD JAMES MACAUSLAND, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Phyllis MacAusland, passed away suddenly at home, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Besides Donald's wife of 22 years, Phyllis MacAusland (nee Campbell), he is survived by his four children and his two sisters JoAnn (Howard) Smith and Heather (Eric) Bowlan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Don was predeceased by his parents Donald Sr.
