Ruth (née Irwin) Maheu Our mother, who lived life fully with love and determination, passed away on Friday, August 11th, 2017 at the age of 96 years. Ruth Maurine Maheu was born in Lethbridge, Alberta in March 21, 1921. She was the only child of Paul and Glona Irwin of Barons, Alberta. Having been raised on a farm, she developed a deep love of animals and the beauty of nature. Ruth rode her horse to Centre Ridge Country School east of Barons.

DEBRA MCPHERSON, of Lethbridge, beloved wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on July 31, 2017 with her family at her side at the age of 64 years. Debra is survived by her loving husband Ian, son Rob McPherson of Lethbridge, daughter Lindsay McPherson (Lee Roy) of Invermere, B.C., and brother Murray (Judi) Paddon of Lethbridge. She is also survived by her niece Hillari (Joel) Blaylock, nephew Ethan Paddon, her grandchildren Brian and Amara McPherson, all of Lethbridge, and her dog Coulter.

IRENE MAY MCLAUGHLIN (nee Payne), passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the age of 92 years. Irene is survived by her two sons, Doug (Peggy) of Lethbridge and Ross (Laurel) of Clayton, ON; grandchildren Kevin (Sara), Kelly (Markus), Kristopher (Cathie), Clarke (Shirley), Patrick (Danielle) and Tripp (Stephanie) as well as 13 great-grandchildren. Irene is also survived by her brother Bob (Anne) of Winnipeg and half brother Ken (Katherine) of Angus, ON as well as many nieces and nephews.

RONNIE MILLER, passed away near Rimbey, AB on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the age of 49 years. Ronnie is lovingly remembered by his companion Terry Law, daughter, Dana Miller of Edmonton, son, Cole Turpin Miller of Edmonton, brother Kevin Miller of Red Deer, sister, Christy (Brian) Chollak of Lethbridge, his parents, Ronald and Peggy Miller of Coalhurst, many aunts, uncles & cousins. Ronnie is also survived by his dear friends Darren Flint, Jeff Hamilton and Ken McGregor.

JENNIFER LEE MERTA, beloved wife of Trevor Merta, of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the age of 44 years. She is the loving daughter of Fred and Dianne Doell of Thailand. Jenn is also survived by her brother Joshua Doell, parents-in-law Larry (Ev) Merta, siblings-in-law Robin (Michelle) Merta, Tim (Sharmaine) Merta, Brenda (Brad) Vonkeman, along with several nephews, nieces, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

After a brave battle with pancreatic cancer, BRIAN MARSHALL passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Jack & Gladys Marshall. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Lise, daughter Jennifer (Matt), grandchildren Ashley & Matthew; brothers Dick (Jo-Anne), Wayne (Linda) and Barry (Diane); sisters Sheila, Carol and Brenda (Don). Also left to mourn the loss of their Uncle Brian are numerous nieces and nephews, all who have fond memories of their time with him.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Jean Murrell (Olshaski, née Wright) on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Dorothy was born in Lethbridge on August 11, 1937, and was the eighth child to Agnes & John Wright. The family moved to the Broxburn area in 1946. Dorothy graduated from McNally School in 1955. She married her high school sweetheart, Bob Olshaski, on October 22, 1955.

JOHN DAVID ALEXANDER MCLELLAN, beloved husband of 64 years to Mrs. Shirley McLellan, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Besides his loving wife Shirley, John leaves behind his children: James (Valerie) and their children Brooks (Emily), Bret and Bailey; Patricia (Owen) Hewitt and their children Kellie (Willy), Stacey (Trevor) and Angela (Josh); David (Darlene) and their children Darla (Jason), Brandy (Jordan) and Jeff (Micaela); William and his children Alisha (David), Ryan, Alexandria and Brooklyn as well as 11 great-grandchildren, a sister Cathy and a brother Charles and many other relatives.

Besides his loving wife Martha of 50 years, Terry is survived by his children Kevin "Buck" (Lora) Maki, Tami (Major) Craig, his grandchildren Aric Craig, Reegin Maki, Sydney Maki and Larissa Craig. Terry was predeceased by his parents Yud & Norma Maki and his sister Deanna Meyers.
