EILEEN MARIE LONG, beloved wife of James "Jim" Long, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, November 10th, 2014 at the age of 86 years. It is with deep sorrow and much sadness to announce the passing of a dear wife, mother and grandmother who slipped away peacefully with gentle care at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta. Besides Jim, her loving husband and best friend of 64 years, Eileen is survived by her daughter Sharon (Dale) Kanashiro, grandson Ryan, and son Mark (Helena Kuzminski-Vedres) Long, step-granddaughter Fayla Vedres (Cam), sister-in-law Eleanor Ziebarth and her children Robert and (son) Andrew, Diane (Bill), and Craig (Angelo).

SEAN LONG, beloved husband of Kristin Long of Coutts, passed away suddenly at the Milk River Hospital on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the age of 45 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Charlie. Son Denton Coates of Lethbridge, parents Len and Lorna Long of Bentley, mother Marianne Fitzgerald of Lethbridge, siblings Bryan (Carol) Long of Red Deer, Sheldon Long of Bentley, Michelle Long of Bowden, Erin Georgopoulos of Sherwood Park and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, aunt, great aunt, grandma & best friend LOLA MARLENE LONSDALE (nee Queener). She passed away peacefully at the age of 82 on the morning of February 22, 2016 with her devoted, loving daughter Diana and grandson Trevor (Amber) Panczak by her side. Lola is predeceased by her parents Loren and Ethel (Wilcox) Queener, her sisters & brothers-in-law Lorraine and Len Candy & Art and Reta Beaton as well as her sons-in-law Jim Green & Johnny Panczak & grandson Richard Panczak.

STILSON (PISKO) LORETTA ANN STILSON passed away peacefully on Monday, July 23 at the age of 79. She was encircled in love by family and close friends during her last days and throughout her entire lifetime. Loretta was predeceased by her beloved husband Gerald ‘Jerry’ Stilson, parents Anne Marie and Andrew Pisko, her brother Ed Pisko, her sister Florence Crilly and her lifelong friend, Laura Peake. She missed them greatly. Because of her faith, Loretta was comforted in knowing that she would be reunited with them in heaven.

At 37 years of age, on January 18th, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer, Lorianne passed away peacefully with her loving, Mark Colhoun and her mother Marianne Wentz by her side. She also leaves to mourn, her brother David Wentz, the beloved family dog Zoey, her grandmother Frances and her extended family at Davis GMC Buick. As well as her many Aunts, Uncles and cousins will continue to remember the special moments they shared together.

JENNINGS Feb. 13, 1932 - July 15, 2012 LORRAINE DELORES JENNINGS, beloved wife of the late Norton Jennings, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre in Lethbridge, Ab. on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the age of 80 years. She fought a strong and courageous battle against ovarian cancer for a short period of time. Lorraine is survived by her daughters; Paula (Mark Wuerfel) Vogt of Lethbridge and Rosanne (Gordon) Williams of Lethbridge, step-daughter Linda Butcher of Calgary.

LOUIS GEORGE DOGTEROM, of Lethbridge, passed away at the age of 87 years on Saturday, October 4, 2008, after an extended stay in the Chinook Regional Hospital. Louis was the oldest of seven children born to Jacob and Emily Dogterom on December 6, 1920 in Lethbridge. Louis grew up on the family farm east of Lethbridge and went to McLean School. He married Grace Siewert and they had 3 children: Linda (Kevin) Joncas and sons Sean (Leanne) and Darrin (Zsuzsuna) of Calgary; Cheryl (Laurence) Turner and sons Andrew and Evan of Calgary; and Gary of Stony Plain with daughter Katie and son Wyatt.

MÀTÉ LOUIS MÀTÉ, beloved husband of Elizabeth Mate, of Raymond, passed away peacefully at The Raymond Hospital, on Wednesday, January 23, 2012 at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his 5 children: Lou Mate Jr. (Gail) of Lethbridge, Helen (Perry) Layton of Coaldale, Attila (Cheryl) Braun of Lethbridge, Jaime Mate of Edmonton and Max Mate of Raymond. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

LOUIS SAKAL, beloved husband of the late Annie Sakal, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Louis was born on August 10, 1921 in Dlha Luka, Slovakia to Steven and Mary. He immigrated to Canada in 1948. He met and married Ann in Saskatchewan, later moving to Taber, then Lethbridge where he resided until his passing. Louis served in the war in Europe of which he would speak of often.
