MÀTÉ LOUIS MÀTÉ, beloved husband of Elizabeth Mate, of Raymond, passed away peacefully at The Raymond Hospital, on Wednesday, January 23, 2012 at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his 5 children: Lou Mate Jr. (Gail) of Lethbridge, Helen (Perry) Layton of Coaldale, Attila (Cheryl) Braun of Lethbridge, Jaime Mate of Edmonton and Max Mate of Raymond. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

LOUIS SAKAL

LOUIS SAKAL, beloved husband of the late Annie Sakal, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Louis was born on August 10, 1921 in Dlha Luka, Slovakia to Steven and Mary. He immigrated to Canada in 1948. He met and married Ann in Saskatchewan, later moving to Taber, then Lethbridge where he resided until his passing. Louis served in the war in Europe of which he would speak of often.

MR. LOUIS ZENTNER, beloved husband of Mrs. Dorothea Zentner, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Besides his loving wife Dorothea, Louis is survived by his three children; Edward (Paulette) Zentner and their children Chadron (Sarah Brown) Zentner and Adam (Diana) Zentner; Caroline Zentner and her daughters Nicole, Robin and Heather Boschman; and Melina (Scott) Warnock all of Lethbridge. He was predeceased by his infant son Thomas.

LOUISE (LA POINTE) BENGRY, born in Eastend, Sask., 1937, wife of 57 years to Laurence Bengry of Magrath, Alberta, passed away with family at her side on Thursday, November 15th, 2012. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren: Richard Bengry (Claudette & Kiri), Jack (Ilona) Bengry & son Jeffrey, Stacy (Gary) Burnett & children Nadine, Kyle & Jeremy; Lynda (Dan) Tuck & children Jason, Jennifer, Samantha & Cassandra; Darcy Bengry & son Braeden; nine grandchildren & great-children by heart.

It is with sadness but great peace that we bid our dear Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother farewell until we meet again. Louise Goertzen passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on May 20, 2009, at the age of 83. On September 7, 1925, Louise Elizabeth Thiessen was born in Rush Lake, SK to Jacob and Anna Thiessen, the eldest of four girls. On July 22, 1945, she married the love of her life, Dave Goertzen.

LOUISE ROSE SIEGL, beloved wife of the late Wilhelm Siegl of Lethbridge, AB, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital, on Monday, June 1, 2009 at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her brother Jack ‘Butch’ (Tracie) Baceda of Taber, her sister Sylvia Oler of Lethbridge and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilhelm in 2006, her parents Ben and Francis Baceda and her brother Thomas.

BEVERLEY LOUNSBURY of Lethbridge passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the St. Michael's Health Centre. Bev is lovingly remembered by her husband Earl and daughter Tara, mother Bernice, brothers Randy and Michael, sister Karen, numerous nieces and nephews and very dear friends. She was predeceased by her father Doug and sister Melanie. In keeping with Bev's wishes, a private gathering to celebrate her life will be held for family and close friends at a later date.

UNO VALDEMAR "BUD" LOVEGREN, of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on February 15, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Bud was a loving husband and father and is survived by his wife Jill, and children Edward Lovegren of Apache Junction, AZ; Sonja (Sarel) Marais of Monroe, NC; Gary Lovegren (Lisa) of Kelowna, BC; Sara Janssen Lopez of Calgary; and Jon Janssen (Tracy) of Lethbridge, AB.

MR. LOVERNE (VERN) WILFRED WESSNER, beloved husband of Mrs. Freda Wessner, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Vern was born on October 27, 1925 in Morse, Saskatchewan to Edmund and Emilie Wessner. During his childhood Vern and his Brothers and sisters grew up on a farm with good Christian values, hard work, dedication, honesty and integrity. His working life began at the Co-op in Hodgeville with his Uncle Alfred Seibel, the manager.

LOWELL FARRIES of Lethbridge passed away at the St. Michaels Health Centre on August 14, 2008 at the age of 57 years. He is survived by one daughter Christy (Matt) Quaedvlieg of Keremeos, BC. He is also survived by siblings; Sharon (Les) Obbagy, Duane (Linda) Farries, Lynn (Barb) Farries, Renaye Burnard, Shannon Farries, Lyle Tyson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Verda Farries. Lowell was born March 26, 1951 in Lethbridge and was raised and lived in Del Bonita.
