SHIRLEY ANNE KOOY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24th, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Kooy and one daughter, Tracey Kooy. JOAN PAULINE KOPONYAS, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Albert Koponyas, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 4th, 2016 at the age of 91 years. Funeral arrangements will be announced once completed.

Born on August 31, 1925 in Rizdviany, Ukraine, JAROSLAW KORCHINSKI was a husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle, son of the Ukraine and proud Canadian. His mother and father were Anna and Nick, simple farmers from the Transcarpathian Mountain region. In 1949, after WW II, Jaroslaw (Jerry) came to Canada, docking in Halifax. He made his way across this vast country not knowing English, but he was versed in many European languages.

MAGDALENE (MAGGIE) KORMOS - April 25, 1931 - February 13, 2010 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Maggie Kormos, beloved wife of the late Albert (Bert) Kormos. Maggie passed away at her home in Taber at the age of 78 years. Mom was born in Lethbridge on April 25, 1931 and spent her childhood growing up on the family farm and attending school in the Coaldale area.

WILLIAM “BILL” KORSTANJE, beloved husband and very best friend of Margaret, his wife of 51 years, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at the age of 85 after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, daughter Terry (Bob) Loerts, Greg and Kayla of Woodstock, ON; his daughter Carolyn (Terry) Kruisselbrink, Sierra and Joshua of Lethbridge, AB; brother Adrian and sister Janna in Holland. Bill was predeceased by his parents and eight brothers and siters.

ERNIE KORZENOWSKI passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the age of 63 years to be with his risen Saviour. Ernie leaves to mourn his wife Sandy, three stepchildren: Amy of Lethbridge, Jeff (Vanessa) of Lintlaw, SK, grandchildren Kayla and Chase, Dan (Melasi) of Coaldale, daughter Gina and her family of Winnipeg, MB. He was born June 28, 1946 in Grandview, Manitoba, the youngest of 6 children for John and Ann Korzenowski.

MR. ALEXANDER THOMAS KOSHMAN, beloved husband of Mrs. Kathleen Koshman, passed away peacefully at the St. Michael's Health Centre after a valiant battle with cancer on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at the age of 93 years. Alex is survived by 4 sons; Terry, Ken, Ed (Rose) and Chris (Peggy), daughter Jennifer (Sandy), his beloved grandchildren Jordan, Tanner, Ashley, Everly, Justin, Derrick and Stephanie as well as a great grandson William. Alex is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of KATHLEEN JOAN KOSHMAN, beloved wife of the late Alex Koshman, on Monday, August 9, 2010 at the age of 86 years. Kathleen was born in Bethnal Green, England, on September 11, 1923. She married Alex in 1943 where she embarked on her great life’s adventure as an English War Bride starting in Shaughnessy, AB., as a coal miner’s wife. After many years, Kath and Alex resided in Lethbridge until her passing.

Mary Jean Koskoski, 82, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully on Feb. 14, 2017 at Foothills Hospital after a brief struggle with cancer. Mary Jean was predeceased by John Koskoski, her loving husband of 62 years and Jeff Koskoski, much loved grandson. Mary Jean will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Ken (Cheryl) from Vancouver, and Dave (Candice) and grandson Mathew, all from Calgary. Also survived by her sister Betty Dodd, two sisters-in-law; Jean Koskoski and Pat Miskulin.
