MR. JAMES “JIM” GEORGE KATO, beloved husband of 43 years to Mrs. Betty Kato, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2011 in Ixtapa, Mexico at the age of 81 years. Besides his loving wife Betty, Jim is survived by his son Dave (Colleen) Kato and daughter Pat (Mark) Sayers, grandchildren Kristy, Kimberly, Meaghan and Shelley, brother-in-law John (Betty) Loewen, sister-in-law Elisha Rasmussen (Colin Beazer) and sister-in-law Bernadette (Rod) Dececco as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Today we lost a beautiful voice, husband, father and grandfather. MICHAEL KAUFMANN passed away peacefully on June 4, 2015 with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife Colleen, his children Susanne (Rick) LaFournie, Beverly (Art) Bullis, Adrian (Lorraine) and James, as well as seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Michael is also remembered by his sisters Theresa Krol, Irma, Eva and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters.

FRANCES MARGARET (SALANSKY) KAUPP of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Frances was born February 2, 1929 and raised in Lethbridge. Upon graduation from St. Patrick’s High School, she went on to graduate from Edmonton General Hospital Nursing School, receiving her RN’s pin in 1951. Returning to Lethbridge she nursed at St. Michael’s until August of 1952 when she married Clem Kaupp of New Dayton.

MRS. KATHLEEN MARIE AUDET (nee Boudreau) beloved wife of Mr. Clarence Audet of Milk River, passed away peacefully surrounded by love at the Milk River Hospital on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Kay met her husband Clarence on Valentine’s Day in 1941 at the Last Sands Ranch and they were married for 66 wonderful years. Kay was born in Mutrie, Saskatchewan on June 27, 1924 but called Southern Alberta home.

MARY KATHRYN ‘KAY’ HADFORD passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the age of 91 years. Mary was the youngest of 7 children born to August (Gust) Hadford (Hedfors) from Gefle, Sweden and his wife, Hanna Elvina (Halverson) Hadford, who was born at Miringo, Norway. She was predeceased by her parents and 2 sisters and 4 brothers; Celeste (Mabel) Engemoen, Gladys Bartlett, Claude Hadford, Harneg Hadford, Cecil Hadford and Leighton Hadford.

MRS. KAY JENSEN, beloved wife of the late ‘Byng’ Jensen, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital with her family at her side on Friday, March 28, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Kay leaves to cherish her memory her children Bob (Marj) Jensen of Calgary, Pat Bodnar of Picture Butte, Gloria (Irv) Martens of Lethbridge as well as 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Ron (Neva) Aitken of Pincher Creek, Helen Charlesworth of Picture Butte, Gail (Sallie) Aitken of Aldergrove and Bev (Len) Herring of Lethbridge.

On September 14, 2013, KEITH ALBERT HAZELL, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather left us to meet Jesus face to face. He was surrounded by the love, prayers, and presence of his family. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Ellen, his sister Joan, and brother John, as well as his grandson Theodore Hazell. He is survived by the only true love of his life Nova (Novie) Ruby Claireen Hazell, his son Jeremy (Faith) of Lethbridge, his daughters Anita (Roger) Nielson of Lethbridge, and Nicola (Raymond) Bergin of Lethbridge, as well as his grandchildren Julian (Stephanie), Tiffany (Brett), Dylan, Sean, Melissa, Brianna, Zachary, and Zeke and his great-grandchildren Caitlin, Mikayla, and Riker.

After valiantly struggling back from a car accident in June, Keith Boyden, beloved husband of Ina (Catarina) of Lethbridge, beloved father of Kelly Alan of Ottawa, Kenton William (deceased) and grandfather to Jacob, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the age of 71 years. Keith also leaves to mourn Brian (Hughena) of Halifax, Daryl (Terry) of Sherwood Park, Myrna Horak of Calgary, Gary (Eileen) of Creston, Neil (Khym) of Lethbridge, Nadine (Don) of Lethbridge, Pat (Theresa) Sherman of Kamloops, thirteen brothers and sisters-in-law on Ina’s side of the family and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews.
