KATHLEEN ANN PIERSON passed away in peace on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the age of 73 years. Kay is the dearly loved mother of Deb Pierson, Ken (Joanne) Pierson, Donna (Glen) Alm and David Pierson. She is also survived by her sister Mary (Bernard) Klein, her life long partner Jack Knight and five loving grandchildren; Tiffany Hood, Carrie (Mike) Poyser, Pamela (Loren) Van Seters, Karli and Katie Alm as well as four great grandchildren; Savanah Hood, Mason and Taylor Van Seters and Lincoln Poyser.

KATHLEEN THURBER-WALL passed away peacefully on December 24, 2013. She is survived by her son Nathaniel, mother Norma, father Tom (Doreen), brother Michael (Nuccia), special nephew Corban, her very best friend Vance, and her aunts, uncles and cousins. Following her wishes there will be no funeral. There will be a private family Memorial to be held at a later date. To honour Kathy, her wish was that people sign their organ donor card.

LILLIAN KATHLEEN VAN HEES (nee Thomas) passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Kathleen leaves behind her husband of 55 years, Ben, son David (Daryl) of Lethbridge and daughter Janet (Marvin) Robinson, granddaughter Cheryl (Peter) Houweling of Yellowknife, sisters Esther (Bert) Feir, Gladys (Don) Dinsmore and Ruth Fischer and brother Warren (Dorothy) Thomas. She was predeceased by her grandson Gary Robinson, brother Louis Thomas and brother-in-law Sam Fischer.

MR. JAMES “JIM” GEORGE KATO, beloved husband of 43 years to Mrs. Betty Kato, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2011 in Ixtapa, Mexico at the age of 81 years. Besides his loving wife Betty, Jim is survived by his son Dave (Colleen) Kato and daughter Pat (Mark) Sayers, grandchildren Kristy, Kimberly, Meaghan and Shelley, brother-in-law John (Betty) Loewen, sister-in-law Elisha Rasmussen (Colin Beazer) and sister-in-law Bernadette (Rod) Dececco as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Today we lost a beautiful voice, husband, father and grandfather. MICHAEL KAUFMANN passed away peacefully on June 4, 2015 with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife Colleen, his children Susanne (Rick) LaFournie, Beverly (Art) Bullis, Adrian (Lorraine) and James, as well as seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Michael is also remembered by his sisters Theresa Krol, Irma, Eva and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters.

FRANCES MARGARET (SALANSKY) KAUPP of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Frances was born February 2, 1929 and raised in Lethbridge. Upon graduation from St. Patrick’s High School, she went on to graduate from Edmonton General Hospital Nursing School, receiving her RN’s pin in 1951. Returning to Lethbridge she nursed at St. Michael’s until August of 1952 when she married Clem Kaupp of New Dayton.

MRS. KATHLEEN MARIE AUDET (nee Boudreau) beloved wife of Mr. Clarence Audet of Milk River, passed away peacefully surrounded by love at the Milk River Hospital on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Kay met her husband Clarence on Valentine’s Day in 1941 at the Last Sands Ranch and they were married for 66 wonderful years. Kay was born in Mutrie, Saskatchewan on June 27, 1924 but called Southern Alberta home.

Mary was the youngest of 7 children born to August (Gust) Hadford (Hedfors) from Gefle, Sweden and his wife, Hanna Elvina (Halverson) Hadford, who was born at Miringo, Norway. She was predeceased by her parents and 2 sisters and 4 brothers; Celeste (Mabel) Engemoen, Gladys Bartlett, Claude Hadford, Harneg Hadford, Cecil Hadford and Leighton Hadford.
