MR. JONAS KANYS beloved husband of Mrs. Janina Kanys of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the age of 85 years. Besides his loving wife Janina, Jonas is survived by his son Arnold (Heather) Kanys of Lethbridge and Heather’s two sons, Jason (Beth) Adams of Calgary and Jonathan (Julie) Lutz of Lethbridge as well as numerous relatives in Lithuania. Jonas was born in Siesikai, Lithuania on August 26, 1924 to Mykolas and Stefanie Robosevskaite.

MRS. KAREN LOUISE LAING, beloved wife of Mr. Brian Laing, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the age of 58 years. Besides her husband Brian, Karen is survived by her sons John (Janice) of Medicine Hat and Jamie (Teresa) of Lethbridge as well as her pride and joy granddaughters Stephanie, Jillian and Madison. She will also be deeply missed by her mother Dorothy Young and brothers Don (Susan) and Bruce (Heather) all of Cranbook, BC.

MS. DR. KAREN NICHOLSON of Lethbridge, beloved daughter, sister, friend and teacher passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle against cancer on Monday, November 5, 2007 at the age of 36 years. Karen is survived by her parents Ted and Margaret Nicholson as well as brother Cameron (Jennifer). Karen was born in Vancouver, B.C. in 1971 and moved to Lethbridge where she lived most of her life.

MR. KARL SZABO passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the age of 93 years. Karl is survived by his children Helen of Lethbridge, Joe of Calgary, Zoltan (Caran) of Ontario and Leslie of Calgary, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother in Hungary. He was predeceased by his wife Helen, son Karl and granddaughter Lydia. Karl was born on April 26, 1914 in Hungary and came to Canada with his family in 1957 to escape the communist regime.

KARMIN LINDA ELL (nee McKay) passed away suddenly in Foothills Hospital CCU on November 10, 2007 at 44 years of age. Karmin was born in London , Ontario on September 26, 1963. Her parents were both in the Air Force and the family moved frequently when Karmin was a child. In 1985 Karmin met David Ell and they were married on March 3, 1986. Karmin was widowed on June 2, 1998.

SANDRA KARREN'S heart came to rest on Tuesday, December 27th, 2016 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by her husband and best friend, Barry Karren of Picture Butte, and leaves behind their 3 daughters: Leslie Karren, Tarri (Stuart) Crothers, and Shellie (Stefan) Kienzle; and 3 grandsons: Matthew, David and Oliver. Mom was a "big city girl" who married a "small town boy" in the late '50s. Together they travelled to and lived in many far-flung places, where Mom always established a warm home for her family and was famous for her improvised "

KART NIRK passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008 after a lengthy illness at the age of 98 years. Kart was laid to rest at a private Graveside Service beside her late husband Helmut at Mountain View Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to her Extendicare Lethbridge staff and family, who made her feel at home in her later years.

Kas Kostek, beloved husband of Pauline Kostek, left this world peacefully with his family at his side, on Thursday, December 5, 2013, a few short months after his 65th birthday. He is survived by his wife Pauline, his precious children Tanya Roth (David) and Adam Kostek; his sister Linda Federkeil (Eric) and brother Don Kostek ( June), sister-in-law Marianne Erno. He is also survived by Jen & Travis Logan, Stefanie Elliott (Chris), Sandra Lee (Mike) & Eric Federkeil,; Zac (Rebecca) , Riley(Kodi), Dustin & Jaydon Kostek; Jennifer Hijdra (Ruud), Cathy Reyes, Michelle Shah (Gibran), Greg Erno ( Shannon) and his bestest girl friend Sierra (AKA Missy).

LYDIA KASZAS passed away in Lethbridge on Saturday Feb 5, 2011 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Kaszas, Lydia is survived by her brother Louie (Ruth) Revesz, her five daughters, Gloria (Keith) Samuels, Marliyn (Larry) Marleau, Ruth (Ken) Landon, Judy (Ron) Quigley and Debbie (Kelly) Chikmoroff; 6 grandchildren, Robyn (Zander) Robertson, Ryan Samuels, Aaron (Noel) Penton, Andrea (Kyle) Rohachuk, Samantha Chikmoroff and Cashen Chikmoroff; 5 great-grand children, Ronan, Zahra, James, Ella and Adelyn.

KATHLEEN ANN ‘BUNNY’ ARMSTRONG nee Longbotham, passed away suddenly in Coaldale on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the age of 45 years. She is survived by her husband Brett, children Michael and Emily of Coaldale, parents Ron and Ann Longbotham of Calgary, siblings Dawn Mysyk, Samantha (Thomas) Homer, Bob (Tara) Longbotham and Chris Longbotham all of Calgary as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathleen was born and raised in Calgary and attended school at Hillhurst Elementary and Queen Elizabeth High School.
