MRS. Donna-Kae (Kae), beloved wife of Ernie Resler of Lethbridge, AB, passed at St. Michael’s Health Care Centre, on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the age of 67 years. She is the loving mother of children, Dale Resler of Vancouver BC, Audra (Dave) Stinson of Coaldale, AB, and Derek (Tracy) Resler of Lethbridge, AB; her four grandchildren Courtney, Chrissy, Morgan and Alex; brothers Gary Krause, Bill Krause and sister Sharon Scheuerman.

STEVE KAMBEITZ, beloved husband of Jennie Kambeitz, of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Besides his loving wife, he will be sadly missed by his children; Stephen (Ann) Kambeitz, of Lethbridge, Kelly-Lynn Kambeitz, of Ponoka, AB, and Joseph Kambeitz, of Lethbridge, three grandchildren, Amie (Tyler) Rook, Travis and India Grace Kambeitz and two great grandchildren Brody and Hailey Rook.

MR. TEDDY “TED” KAMINSKI, beloved husband of Mrs. Loretta Kaminski, of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael’s, Palliative Care on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the age of 71 years. Besides his loving wife he is survived by James “Jim” (Sylvia) Kaminski, of Lethbridge, Tracy (Cole) Nelson, of Calgary, Craig (Paula) Kaminski, of Dauphin, MB, six grandchildren Dustin, Braydin, Charley, Sadie, Sophie, and Brody. He is also survived by a sister Jenny Skinner, brother Brounie Kaminski and twin sister Tedda Kaminski as well as sisters-in-law Liz (Kaz) Kaminski and Janice (John) Palmer.

Mom passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Health Centre Palliative Care Unit on March 8, 2012. She is survived by her children Gordon (Pat), Dennis (Leslie), Glenn (Georgina), and Carey, a brother Tom as well as sisters Sumi, Mitzi, Roko, Terrie, Yuri, and Mari. She was predeceased by her husband Nobuo, brother Roy and sister Colleen. A private family service was held on March 10, 2012 in memory of Shizuko’s life.

MR. WILLIAM "BILL" KANE passed away peacefully at the home of his loving daughter-in-law in Monarch, AB on September 26, 2016. Bill was predeceased by his wife of 58 years Dorothy (Roberts) Kane, and two sons John (Marjorie) and Doug (Susan). He is survived by his two daughter-in-laws, Marjorie Kane and Susan Kane; his grandchildren, Angela Plettell, LeAnne Malchow, Lisa Hall and Jennifer Kirsch, as well as several great and great-great grandchildren.

MR. JONAS KANYS beloved husband of Mrs. Janina Kanys of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the age of 85 years. Besides his loving wife Janina, Jonas is survived by his son Arnold (Heather) Kanys of Lethbridge and Heather’s two sons, Jason (Beth) Adams of Calgary and Jonathan (Julie) Lutz of Lethbridge as well as numerous relatives in Lithuania. Jonas was born in Siesikai, Lithuania on August 26, 1924 to Mykolas and Stefanie Robosevskaite.

MRS. KAREN LOUISE LAING, beloved wife of Mr. Brian Laing, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the age of 58 years. Besides her husband Brian, Karen is survived by her sons John (Janice) of Medicine Hat and Jamie (Teresa) of Lethbridge as well as her pride and joy granddaughters Stephanie, Jillian and Madison. She will also be deeply missed by her mother Dorothy Young and brothers Don (Susan) and Bruce (Heather) all of Cranbook, BC.

KAREN NICHOLSON

MS. DR. KAREN NICHOLSON of Lethbridge, beloved daughter, sister, friend and teacher passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle against cancer on Monday, November 5, 2007 at the age of 36 years. Karen is survived by her parents Ted and Margaret Nicholson as well as brother Cameron (Jennifer). Karen was born in Vancouver, B.C. in 1971 and moved to Lethbridge where she lived most of her life.

MR. KARL SZABO passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the age of 93 years. Karl is survived by his children Helen of Lethbridge, Joe of Calgary, Zoltan (Caran) of Ontario and Leslie of Calgary, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother in Hungary. He was predeceased by his wife Helen, son Karl and granddaughter Lydia. Karl was born on April 26, 1914 in Hungary and came to Canada with his family in 1957 to escape the communist regime.
