ED KUBIK, 69, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. He leaves his two daughters Karma (David) and Kara (Keisuke). Ed was predeceased by his wife of 22 years, Joanne and his father, Emil. He is survived by his mother Josephine, four siblings Vicki, Geri (Mike), David (Lori) and Emily (Wayne) and his companion Norma Guzman along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.

On August 19, 2016, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, MARY MADELINE KUBIK (nee Zachar), passed away at the age of 94 years. She is lovingly remembered by children Vera, Jerry (Dianne), Rick and Mary; her grandchildren, Natasha (Cam), Ben, David (Corrine), Jeff (Fa-Linn), Dan, Phyllis (Bill), Sam, Thea, and Brian; her great-grandchildren, Rosie and Katie MacDougald and Walter Kubik; her daughter-in-law Brenda, sister-in-law Josephine, numerous nieces and nephews, and her special friend Alice Heynen; her caregiver who often visited and brought a smile to her face.

MABLE MARGARET KURUTZ, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of John Kurutz for the last 65 years, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, knowing she was loved, at the St. Michael's Health Centre, on Tuesday, July 19th, 2016 at the age of 86 years, four days short of her 87th Birthday. Besides her loving husband, John, Mable is survived by her daughter Loretta (Lawrence) Craddock, her two grandchildren Tim (Dayna) Craddock and Kelly Jo Craddock (Bob White) and one great-grandchild Crosby Craddock.

PETER KNELSEN, beloved husband of Sharon Knelsen, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Besides his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon, he is survived by his children Karen Alexander of Lethbridge, Antonia (Darin) Lofgren of Lethbridge and Miriam (Jim) Wiebe of Guelph, ON. Grandchildren: Derek (Cassie) Alexander, Devon (Jessica) Alexander, Brittany (Daniel) Newton, Alicia (Kevin) Vanderwal, Ryan Lofgren, Stephanie Lofgren, Jordan Wiebe and Megan Wiebe, great-grandchildren: Kessiah, Mckayla, Emily, Levi and Brynlee.

STANISLAW KRAWCZYK, of Lethbridge, also known as Mr. Greenthumb, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Stanley is survived by his sister Mary of Poland. He was predeceased by his parents Aleksandra and Wladyslaw Krawczyk, his sister Irene, and brother Anthony. Stan was born January 5, 1935 in Metelno, Poland. Stanley was a horticulturalist by trade, attending the University of Gdansk, Poland.

ETSUJIRO "JERRY" KAMEYAMA, beloved husband of Regina Kameyama, of Lethbridge, AB fought the brave battle of cancer. He succumbed in his sleep on June 10, 2016, with his family by his side. Along with his wife Regina, he is lovingly remembered by his children; Joanne (Curtis) Polec of Lethbridge, Janet (Jamie) Wakefield of Coaldale, Kenta (Megan) Kameyama of Lethbridge, his grandchildren Kai, Kaede, Emi and Maliya as well as his brothers and sisters and their families in Japan.

William was born in Zaandam, The Netherlands, on March 18, 1928. He immigrated to Canada in 1951. Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Elaine; his children: Nelly (Gerritt) Procee, Louise (John) Halma, Ron (Carol) Krikke and Lloyd Krikke; seven grandchildren: Kim, Greg, Jennifer Jeremy, Allison, Reeve and Laine ; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, all who gave him much joy and love.
