MR. JOZEF KOWALSKI, beloved husband of Jadwiga Kowalski of Lethbridge, AB. passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the age of 95 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his son Les Kowalski of St. Albert, AB. A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 7:00 P.

Jozef (Joe) Poppe loving husband of the late Abby Poppe passed away peacefully on October 26, 2012. Joe was born in Kieldrecht, Belgium on October 30th, 1928. He was the youngest of 7 children. He married the love of his life Abby on September 21, 1954 and together the came to Canada in April of 1959 .In 1969 their dream of owning a farm was realized when the bought their farm west of Picture Butte.

JOLAYNE JOZSA, beloved wife of Alexander Jozsa, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Friday, October 12, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Funeral arrangements will be announced once completed.

JUDITH LEA WILLIAMS, beloved wife of Dennis Williams, of Lethbridge passed away at home on Friday, July 25, 2008 at the age of 61 years. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her children; David (Sheri), Denise, Mark and Orin Williams, two grandchildren Brynn & Braith, her mother Joan Jessop, and aunt and friend Violet Addison. She was predeceased by Bill Taylor (father) and by George Jessop. Judith Lea Williams was born and raised in Calgary It was there that she met her husband Dennis and they raised four children.

JULES VANDEBEEK, beloved husband of Mrs. Gerdy Vandebeek, entered into the presence of his Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the age of 63 years. He is survived by his children Dave (Stephanie) Vandebeek of Nobleford, Rhonda Vandebeek of Shickshinny, PA and Sandi (Rick) Murphy of Calgary, grandchildren; Jennifer, Justina, Joshua, Jessica, Ashlie and Jaylene, brothers Alphonse, John (Cindy) and Henri (Adrianna), sisters; Danielle, Michelle, Claudette, Josette and Pierette as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Julia (Holy Singer) Morgan Ma-do-me-da-pi Beloved wife of the late Simon Jake Cyr, Julia passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on September 21, 2012 in Lethbridge, AB. Daughter of the late Frank Holy Singer and daughter of the late Mary (Wells) and Victor Chief Moon. She was born March 28, 1921 on the Blood Reserve . She is survived by her sons Edward (Delores) Noade and Dennis (Mavis) Mooney; daughter-in-law Clothilda Soop (Sonny deceased); daughters Lorna (Tony) Black Water, Patricia Mooney, Shirley Morgan, Charlene (Jordan Wolf Child); Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces & nephews; sisters, Helen Rodgers, Linda Bruised Head, Claudia Sugai, sister-in-law Phyllis (Fox) Holy Singer & brother-in-law Bernard Shot Both Sides.

MRS. JULIA SMOLNICKY, beloved wife of the late Mr. Les Smolnicky, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the age of 81 years. Julia is survived by daughters Rita Wiersema (Stan), Elizabeth Davis (Brett); grandchildren Chris Wiersema (Susan), Bridgette Wiersema (Wade), Shane Wiersema (Jennifer), Tristan Davis (Krista), Amanda Kennedy (Andrew); great grandchildren Briawna, Latisha, Travis, Dalton, Brier, Byron, Megan, Taylor, Everett, Teagan. She is also survived by two sisters Priscilla Brady of BC and Mary Vujicic of Lethbridge.

JUNE ELIZABETH KOMETZ (HEPPLE) nee Gibbs, beloved wife of Gordon Kometz, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the age of 67 years. June is survived by her husband, Gordon Kometz; children Cindy (Darren Schatz) and Jeff (Tina Andre-Hepple); grandchildren Olivia and Daniel Schatz and Sydney and Emilie Hepple; sisters Sharon, Sylvia and Patricia; brothers Phillip and Cyril; and numerous other family, including her stepchildren.

JUNE NADON, beloved friend of John Dowding of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the age of 76 years. She is survived by her daughter Jill (Garry) Tomlinson of Rimbey, Alberta, grandsons Garrett (Cynthia) and Darren (Amy), granddaughter Stacy (John), great granddaughter Kayleigh and great grandson Zachary. She was predeceased by her husbands Lorne Nadon and Garry Coyle and daughter Barbara Gail Nadon.

On Saturday, December 14, JURRIE and his son MIKE were flying to Tofino to visit friends when they were both tragically taken from us in a plane accident due to bad weather. Jurrie Van den Berg is lovingly remembered by his wife Susie and daughter Carlie (Darcy), his parents Marinus and Gerrie, sister Janneke and her daughters Annika and Romy as well as his father-in-law Ron (Linda) McLeod, mother-in-law Cathy McLeod, brother-in-law Garry and his daughter Sierra, brother-in-law Mark and his daughter Marina and son Shawn.
