LELAND “LEE” MERLE JOHNSON, beloved husband of Ruth Johnson, of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at Chinook Regional Hospital, on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the age of 87 years. His family was everything to him and his great grandchildren were a new joy. He is the loving father of; Sharon (Martin) Alcock of Calgary, Marion (Jim) Rasmussen of Bowden, Heather (Robert) Skakum of Lethbridge. grandfather of Carla (Jason) Giebelhaus of Edmonton, Cristy (Cory) Whalen of High Prairie, Lindsey Skakum of Lethbridge, Michelle Skakum of Lethbridge and great grandfather of Sarah & Bennett Whalen and Jack Giebelhaus.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, GERALD "GERRY" MELVIN JOHNSON, beloved husband of the late Frances Johnson, in Lethbridge at the age of 72 years. Gerry was born in Picture Butte on April 17, 1943 to his parents, Melvin and Jean Johnson. He was raised with his older brother Robert, twin sister Janet and his younger brother, Wayne. Gerry met and married the love of his life, Frances Teresa Zimmer on August 7, 1970 and lived and raised their family on the farm for 41 years.

GREGORY STANFORD "PAPA" JOHNSTON, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully with his family around him on Friday July 13, 2018 at St. Michaels Palliative Care, at the age of 86. Greg is survived by his four children; Michael Johnston of Coalhurst, Lori (Claude) Reimer of Edmonton, Lynn Hucker of Kingman, AZ and Lisa (Tom) Samstag of Kingman, AZ.; grandchildren Marcus (Whitney) Johnston, Brianna (Evan) Seitz, Jesse (Monique) Reimer, Christine Reimer, Colton and Logan Samstag, Chris (Brenda) Hucker, Alannah and Shaun Hucker; and great-grandchildren, Huxley Johnston, Lenox Seitz, Eleanor Kalthoff, and James Hucker.

JOLAN SZALAI, beloved wife of the late Janos (John) Szalai passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the age of 81 years. She is the loving mother of daughters: Kathy Heinzler of Hungary, Joanne (Les) Mulatz of Lethbridge, Maria (Fern) Gervais of Fort Macleod, Terry (Tom) Clements of Lethbridge, sons: John (Helga) Szalai of Lethbridge, Mickey Szalai of Lethbridge, Alex (Donna) Szalai of Lethbridge, 12 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.

JOLAN ‘RESS’ THOMPSON, beloved wife of Richard (Dick) Thompson of Kipp passed away at the Calgary Foothills Hospital after a very short illness on Friday November 28th at the age of 66; she was surrounded by her family and pastor at the time. Jolan was born in Hungary on September 12th, 1942. She came to Canada in 1957 and married Steve Ress in 1960 and had three children; James, John and Sue Ress.

MRS. JOLANE VANDER HULST, beloved wife of Mr. Jake Vander Hulst, passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Jolane will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jake, children Bev (Theo) Pecht, Brenda Boe, Allan (Connie) Dickout, Debie Lachuk, Gordon Dickout, Judy Baker, Peggy (Roy) Kipnik and Lawrence (Donna) Batalden and step-daughter Shannon (Brad) Martens. Her memory will be further cherished by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother Gordon Scroggie, brothers-in-law John, Harry and Claus Vander Hulst, sisters-in-law Jean, Trudy and Mary Vander Hulst as well as a large extended family.

MR. JON ENANDER, beloved husband of Debbie Enander of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at St. Michael\'s Palliative Care Centre on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the age of 62 years. He is the loving father to Kristin and Jerrad Shell of Lethbridge. He was predeceased by his son Michael Enander, his parents Bert Enander & Margaret Stannard, brother Kenn Enander and his mother & father-in-law Joyce & Jim Berry.

Jon Newman passed away on August 8, 2008, at the age of 47 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Jeremy and Jodi, their mother Cathy, his mother June, sisters Ellen, Lori, brothers Randy, Roderick, and their families. He was predeceased by sister Lynda and brother Adrian. Jon was a kind-hearted and adventurous free-spirit who enjoyed nature and the outdoors, and valued time spent with friends and family.

JONATHAN WRAY THIELEN of Lethbridge, passed away on February 15, 2013 at the age of 27 years. Jon was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on May 4, 1985. He is survived by his father William Thielen of Milk River, AB., brother Christopher Thielen of Fort Mcmurray, AB., mother Lori Tuttosi of Calgary, AB., grandparents Gorden A. (Pudge) & Maryetta Thielen of Milk River, AB., uncles David of Olds, AB., Neil (Yvette) of Lethbridge, AB.

Robert P. Jones passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011 at the age of 81 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 27 years, Nicole Lee Jones and by his son Cardine Lee Jones, his wife Carol and their children Cindie and Cullen. He will also be remembered by his daughter Tanya Lea Jones of Calgary. Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service at Cornerstone Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov.
