MR. JOHN STENGL, beloved husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Stengl, of Lethbridge passed away at the Good Samaritans, West Highlands Centre, on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the age of 86 years. MR. GIOVANNI ALDO ‘JOHN’ TONIN, beloved husband of Mrs. Linda Tonin of Lethbridge, AB, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the age of 75 years. Besides his loving wife Linda, John is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Debbie (Bob) Haraga, son, Johnny, grandchildren Adam, Amanda, Austin. John is also survived by his brothers; Gino (Maria), Giovanna (Franco), Dario (Helen) as well as a sister, Fernanda (Len).

JOHN PETER VAN HAM, beloved husband of Cobi (Jansen) van Ham, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the age of 73 years surrounded by his beloved family. John was born in Dongen, the Netherlands on July 31, 1935. He was the oldest of ten children. John married the love of his life, Cobi, on August 29, 1967. In 1984, John and Cobi immigrated to Coaldale, Alberta with their two sons.

John passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre Palliative Care on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by daughter Debi Baldwin of Calgary; son John (Cindy) Wagontall of Lethbridge; daughter Shirley (Darrell) DiPalma of Calgary and was a loving grandpa to 5 wonderful grandchildren, Chelsey Will, O.

On the morning of Sunday, August 10, 2008, John Craig Witherspoon passed away with his wife by his side. John courageously fought a 10 month battle with cancer. John is survived by his wife Gail; family Michael and Lynette, Heather and granddaughters Chloe and Ellary. John was born in Portage la Prairie. He grew up in Estevan and Regina, Saskatchewan before joining the RCMP in November 1967. Graduating with Troop 23 in the spring of 1968, John’s first posting was in Claresholm, Alberta where he met the love of his life, Gail.

JOHNNIE THOMAS ZUBACH, beloved husband of Helen Zubach of Lethbridge, AB, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the age of 66 years. He is the loving father of children, Trina (Owen) Zarazun and Wade (Trudy) Zubach; proud grandfather of Kirstie, Justin and baby Wyatt. He is also survived by his brother Raymond (Margaret) Zubach, sisters, Marion (Bjorn) Nielson and Francis (Walter) Boras and numerous nieces and nephews.

MRS. GISSELAINE (JESSIE) JOHNSON, beloved wife of the late William (Willie) Johnson of Claresholm, Alberta, passed away at the Claresholm General Hospital on Friday, March 23, 2012 at the age of 73 years. She is survived by one son Michael Joyal, two grandchildren Chelsea-Rose and Chayse Joyal, their mother Caroline Daveron all of B.C., as well as two sisters-in-law, Lillian (Ryan) Nordin & Donna (Doug) Barnes. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

ARTHUR "ART" JOHNSON, beloved husband of the late Emma Johnson of Lethbridge, AB., passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the age of 82 years. He is lovingly remembered by his step-daughter, Alice (Art) Dueck and son Stacy (Christina) Dueck of Lethbridge; step-daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Dixson of Foremost and her children, Quentin (Denise) Dixson of Calgary, Blayne (Rebecca) Dixson of Foremost and daughter-in-law Neila (Owen) Nelsen of Vegreville; grandchildren Tyler Smith and Heather (Jesse) Stewart of Edmonton and Russell (Darla) Smith of Hardisty, as well as ten great-grandchildren.

Dr. Ralph Johnson, beloved husband of Carol for the last 59 years, passed away suddenly at home in Lethbridge on Monday March 22 at the age of 86 years. Along with Carol he is survived by his family; David (Debbie) of Victoria, Sydony (Alan) of Taber, Leslie (Edward) of Lethbridge, and Jeffery (Theresa) of Perth Australia. He will be deeply missed by his 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Ralph began practicing medicine in Lethbridge in 1957 as a Specialist in General Surgery with the Campbell Clinic.

FRANCES TERESA JOHNSON (nee Zimmer), beloved wife of Gerry Johnson, of Picture Butte, AB, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 63 years. Besides her loving husband she is survived by her children, Ken (Joanna) Johnson and Karen (Scott) Mueller, grandchildren, Emily and Amanda Johnson, Dean, Drew and Gregory Mueller. She is also survived by her mother, Isabel Zimmer; siblings Harold (Eleanor) Zimmer, Larry (Ann) Zimmer, Fred (Trudy) Zimmer, Terry (Dolly) Zimmer, Brian (Deb) Zimmer, Margaret (Fred) Carbonneau, Bernie(Roger) Felzien, Ginny (Blair) Johnson, and Brenda Martin; in-laws Rose Lechner, Irene Zimmer, Betty Johnson, Wayne Johnson, and Janet (John) Hansen.
