MRS. KIRSTINE HANSEN JOHANSEN passed away peacefully on Monday November 7, 2011 just after her 87th birthday. Kirstine will be lovingly remembered by her son Torben, daughter Vita Baldwin, sons Jan (Annette), Ole (Bev), David (Jennifer), and daughter in law Helen, 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Kirstine was predeceased by her loving husband, Axel, her parents Emil and Marie Marcussen, infant daughter Hanne, son Andy and son in law Russell Baldwin, brother Jens and sister Agnes.

MR. JOHN WURZ, beloved husband of Mrs. Annie Wurz of Old Elm Spring Colony, Magrath, AB., passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the age of age of 76 years. Left to mourn are his wife and 8 children (5 Girls and 3 Boys) The family of the late John Wurz would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Chinook Regional Hospital in units 5B, 4B, the ICU and the Haemodialysis unit, your great care will never be forgotten.

JOHN ARTHUR CHARBONNEAU, of Milk River, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 23, 2008. A Graveside Service will be held at the MILK RIVER CEMETERY on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Joseph Kalathiparambil officiating. In Memory of John and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Milk River Fire Department for a new fire hall.

John is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Pat, daughters; Bonnie-Jean (Doug) Chartrand, and their children Cheyanne and John; Denise (Tim) Moroney and their daughter Meghan; Lisa (Garry) Thompson and their children David, Brian, Matthew and Sarah as well as Cathy’s children; Erin (Tom), Stacie and Karyn (Mark) and their daughter Alyssa.

JOHN FURY (1921 - 2013) passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 2, after a brief illness at the age of 91 years. He was born in Hungary on July 28, 1921. He was a devoted husband (married April 22, 1950) to Mary for almost 63 years. He was also a loving father to Linda (Jerry) Martin of Hanna, Alberta and to Kevin Fury of Medicine Hat, Alberta.

MR. JOHN “GORDON” ZUBACK, beloved husband of the Mrs. Claire Zuback of Lethbridge, passed away with his family at his side at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the age of 85 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Claire, one son Jason (Kari) Zuback and one granddaughter Lola of Calgary, one brother Joe (Joan) Zuback of Nanaimo, BC. Gordon was predeceased by his daughter Shelley-Anne, an infant son Gregory, his parents John and Anne Zuback, one brother Lawrence and a sister Dorothy Donovan.

JOHN GRANSON, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 10, 2009 at the age of 90 years. He will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his three daughters; Annie (Ben) Littau, Hilda (Glen) Seeman, Gerda (Adrian) VanderFluit; six grandchildren, Carol (Marlow) Watts, Kevin (Carmen) Littau, Wade Seeman, Brad (Jakki) Seeman, Joseph and Jaclyn VanderFluit; and six great-grandchildren, Sheldon and Jayden Watts, Sonya and Taylor Littau, Paige Holtom and Madison Seeman; two sisters, Anna Moser of Calgary, AB and Helena Klein of Germany; one brother, Fred (Frieda) Granson of Coaldale, AB and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

JOHN ALLEN GRANT beloved husband of the late Frances Elizabeth Grant passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, February 27, 2009, at the age of 86 years. John is survived by his 3 sons Ronald (Peggy), Dave (Betty) and Gary; daughter-in-law Helen as well as by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his loving wife Frances, John was predeceased by his son Clinton, his parents Scott and Vella, brother Dan and sister Ada.

It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, ‘Pops’. JOHN GYORKOS, beloved husband of Doreen, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on May 26, 1931, John graduated from St Theresa’s Academy. He worked for Motor Car Supply in Medicine Hat, Lethbridge and Edmonton before returning to Lethbridge in May 1957 to work for Alberta Government Telephones until his retirement in December 1987.

JOHN HALLUK of Coaldale, beloved husband of 37 years to Mercedes, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the age of 68 years. John was born in Pilisborosjeno, Hungary, on February 28, 1945. As a child they lived in Chile, South America and then Germany. The family immigrated to Coaldale, AB., in 1956. In 1975 he met the love of his love, Mercedes in Calgary, Alberta at a thanksgiving party.
