JIM HENDERSON

JIM HENDERSON of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at the age of 58 years. He is survived by Sandi (George) Norman, Sharlene (Jim) Kew, Norma Jean (Ted) Fyles, Rob (Mary) Hawkins, and Maria Lisun, as well as many numerous nieces and nephews. Jim is predeceased by his parents Alex and May, stepmother Helen, sister Christine, twin brother Don, and brother Bill. Born on April 9, 1954, Jim was well liked by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

It is with great sadness that the family of JIM MCCLUNG announce his passing on Saturday, January 19, 2008 after a brief illness. Jim was born January 29, 1928 in Cardston Alberta. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and motorcycles, particularly with friends and family, throughout his life. He travelled Canada and the United States as a youth before marrying his sweetheart, Monte Lou Cahoon and settling down to raise six children, with unconditional love and patience.

JAMES ‘JIM’ MCKENNA beloved husband of the late Margaret McKenna of Lethbridge passed away at the Edith Cavell Centre on Friday, April 10, 2009 at the age of 90 years. He is survived by his sons Michael McKenna of Grande Prairie, AB and John McKenna of Lethbridge, AB. He was predeceased by Margaret McKenna, Judy McKenna and Peter McKenna. Jim was a veteran of World War 2 and upon returning from overseas he began his career with the Lethbridge Fire Department, where he worked for 38 years.

He is the loving father of two daughters, Barbara (Malcolm) Charlish, of Camberley, Surrey, UK; and Wendy (John) Bushell, of Lethbridge, AB; four grandsons, Iain (Lindsay) Bushell of Sherwood Park, AB; Ross (Cindy) Bushell, of Hong Kong; Michael Charlish, of Camberley, Surrey, UK; and Robert (Anji) Charlish, of Wakefield, Yorkshire, UK; two great-grandsons, Xander and Liam Charlish of Wakefield, Yorkshire, UK.

TAYLOR MR. W. J. “JIM” (BUCK) TAYLOR, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Helen Taylor, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Legacy Lodge on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his children; Ken (Natalka) Taylor of Lethbridge, Duane (Jo-Anne) Taylor of Lethbridge, Robert (Gay) Taylor of Ponoka, Marianne (Derrick) Hawes of Calgary and Donna Taylor of Calgary, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

JIMMIE MELVIN BIG SMOKE, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, August 18, 2008 at the age of 55 year old. Jimmie was born to Tom and Madeline Big Smoke on May 19, 1953. He will be sadly missed by his loving and faithful wife of 27 years, Elaine, his daughter Nadine (Jerimiah), Son, Jimmy Jr. (Teresa), two brothers, Wilton (Hazel) of Brocket and Mark of Calgary; two sisters Alice (Patches) of New Dayton and Edna of Edmonton; mother-in-law Mary Louise Brass; brothers-in-law Randy, Carline and Colin; sister-in law Dale (Ken) Hinves; his two favorite nieces Sheila (Roland) of Calgary and Billy Jo (Ryan) of Lethbridge as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.

JIM WELCH, beloved husband of Arlene Welch, of Cardston, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Friday, December 12th, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Besides his loving wife Arlene, Jim is remembered by his family, James (Lisa) of Glenwood, AB, Ken (Elisabeth) of Sweden, Bill of Calgary, Linda (Dwayne) Huber on a farm S.E. of Cardston, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild. Jim is also survived by one brother Glen (Virgina) Welch of Wainwright, AB.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Jimmy Wells, September 20, 2009, at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre at the age of 72 years. Jim was born in 1937 at the old Indian Hospital on the Blood Reserve to Molly (Long Time Squirrel) and Jim Wells II. Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife Barbara, his daughters Connie and Melanie, his grandchildren Robert, Vanessa, Buddy (Vanessa Knife) and Aeron, adopted sons Alexander Smith and Destry and adopted granddaughter, Cassandra Smith.

The Lord lovingly called MRS. JOAN GIBSON home on April 21, 2013 at the age of 77 Years. She is survived by her children; Owen (Linda) Gibson, Jane (Darcy) Brann, Jennifer (Duane) Schaffer; grandchildren Lucas Gibson, Lindsay (Mark) Devine, Jeremy Brann. She is also survived by a great grandchild Mikinlee Devine, sister and best friend Anne Gustavson. Joan was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) James Gibson. Joan's greatest joy in life were her kids and much loved dog Maggie.

Joan was born in Calgary on September 17, 1927 - entering the world with a twin brother - Don.
