J.C. MAURICE L’ARRIVÉE (B.S.A., M.Sc. Ph.D.), passed away on Friday, September 18, 2009, at the age of 86 years. He was born on June 18, 1923 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. His parents were E. Bernier L’Arrivée and Elodie Guilbert and he was the first born of ten children. He was predeceased by two brothers: Jean and Rene, and a sister, Marie Kehler. In August 1950, he married Catherine Cassidy of Winnipeg.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of JACK ARLAN SCHIMPF. After receiving his “golden dove” for successfully battling cancer, Jack passed away suddenly on January 6, 2010 at the age of 71 years. Born in Barons, AB. on December 18, 1938, Jack was raised in Coalhurst, AB., where he met the love of his life, Lorraine. They married on September 3, 1960 and began a home in Lethbridge.

MR. JACK GIOLO, beloved husband of the late Josephine Giolo, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, October 31st, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Jack was predeceased by his son Michael Giolo and is survived by his son Colin Giolo. At the request of Jack, no funeral service will be held. O’SULLIVAN JACK KENNETH O’SULLIVAN, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the age of 76 years. Jack was one of eight children born to John and Hattie Mae (Helen) O’Sullivan in 1936. He was born in Lethbridge and grew up in Fort Macleod, AB. Jack married Betty Jean Deglau in 1962 and worked as a self employed painter in Lethbridge for many years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and socializing with his friends at Bully’s until his passing.

JOHN (JACK) EDWIN LAWSON, beloved and loving husband of Patricia for 51 years and proud and loving father of Sharon, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital following a massive stroke on July 5, 2009 at the age of 75 years. John was born in Shoal Lake, Manitoba in 1933. After graduating from Shoal Lake Collegiate, he attended both the University of Manitoba and the University of Minnesota. As a young man he participated in many sports, his favorites being curling, baseball, and hockey.

C. JACK RACZ , beloved partner of Holly Tait of Lethbridge, AB, passed away at home on Monday, March 9, 2009 at the age of 59 years. Besides his partner Holly, he is survived by two daughters, Kimberlee (Brett) and Karalee, five grandchildren, Kameron, Robyn, Braidon, Chance and Alysia. He is also survived by siblings Art (Kathryn), Bonnie (Adrian), Sherrie (Mike) and Tammie (Sheldon) and nieces and nephews; Jennifer, Chad, Kalman, Jackie, Anthony, Elliott, Amanda and Audra.

JACK VERWOERD, beloved husband of Karin Verwoerd and father to Jackie (Myles) and their son Logan, Tracy and Robbie, passed away peacefully at the Milk River Hospital on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the age of 56 years. Jack is also survived by his mother Della, his sisters Karen (Ralph), Carol as well as his brothers Tom (Joanne), Jim (Judy) and Dan. No Funeral Service by request.

JACKSON WILLIAM (BILL) NORMAN JACKSON, beloved husband of Betty Jackson, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Besides his loving wife he is survived by his family, Dave (Sue Barnes) Jackson of Creston, BC, Brenda (Greg) Johnson of Taber, Brian (Judy) Jackson of Lethbridge, Beverly (Fred) Thomson of Coaldale, Gary (Melonie) Jackson of Lethbridge, Don (Kathy) Jackson of Edmonton and Kevin (Donette) Jackson of Calgary, 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Anthony, Jacob John Kazunori On Dec. 1, 2012, Rob and Miki (Kuno) Anthony were blessed with a perfect baby boy. It is with infinite sadness that we announce, on Feb. 28, 2013, our precious little baby Jake passed away at home. Jake brought such joy to his parents, sister Emi, and brothers Nate and Ben. Their joy was shared by all of his many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great aunts and uncles, great grandparents and friends, and all who saw his cheerful smile or curious gaze.

MR. JAKOP "JAKE" VAN DER HULST, beloved Husband of the late Jolane Van Der Hulst, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the age of 74 years. Jake will be lovingly remembered by his Daughter Shannon (Brad) Martens; Step-Children Bev (Theo) Pecht, Brenda Boe, Allan (Connie) Dickout, Debi (Tom) Lachuk, Gordon Dickout, Judy Baker, Peggy (Roy) Kipnik, Lawrence (Donna) Batalden; Brothers John, Claas and Harry (Carol) Van Der Hulst; Sisters Jean Mazacs, Mary (Ron) Mate and Trudy Van Der Hulst and Brother-In-Law Gordon Scroggie.
