With gentle relief, the family of JAMES "JIM" ALBERT MOCH, sadly announce his passing on Saturday, October 19th at the age of 74 years. Jim is survived by his wife, Irene of 54 years and sons Trevor (Lisa) and Jason (Tina) and granddaughters Hazel, Zuri and Isla. Also surviving are brothers, Bob (Phyllis), Garry (Gladys), sister Lynn Steedsman (Dave, deceased), sister in law, Phyllis Moch, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Art and Carol Ann Bedster.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of MRS. JILL ROSALIND TYSON, on Tuesday 5th August, at the age of 76, from complications following a severe stroke. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of fifty four years, Brian, her two children, Fergus and Dominic, and their partners Gail Munro and Terry Tippins, plus her grandchild, Alyssa, and two step-grandchildren Andrew and Frances, and Andrew's child Ethan; also her brother John, and his extensive family; and brothers-in-law Patrick (Pam) and Shaun Tyson and their children and grandchildren.

JOSEPH "GIL" POIRIER, beloved husband of Myrna Poirier of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, August 25, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Besides his loving wife, Gil is survived by his daughter Michele (John) Tavernini of Edmonton, AB, son Mark Poirier of Edmonton, AB, as well as two grandchildren, Jennifer and Scott Tavernini. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law Raoul, Dale, Bryce and Byron and sisters-in-law Verda, Wilma, Nola, Peggy, Estelle, Louise, Vera and Netta.

MARTENS January 3, 1944--July 26th 2014 With loving memory the family of JOHN MARTENS announces his passing on July 26th 2014 at the age of 70 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jim (Shiu Check) Chu, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the age of 73. He is survived by his parents, Mah Gon and Park Woo; his loving wife, Julia; son, Gene; daughter, Lisa; sister in law, Penny; brother in law, Raymond (Tham Ying); brother, Tom (Angela); sister, May (Jeff); and nieces and nephews, Lindsay, Linden, Kristina, and Kyle. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 2:00pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home - 2800 mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, Luncheon to follow.

JOHN J. KLEINSASSER, beloved husband of the late Rosa Kleinsasser of Raymond, AB passed away at the Raymond Care Centre on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the age of 68 years. A Funeral Service will be held at the O.K. Colony, Box 540, Raymond, AB on Wednesday, July 9, at 11:30 A.M. Interment to follow at the O.K Colony Cemetery.

JOHN BRAAT, of Coaldale, Alberta, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge at the age of 84. He was born on April 23rd, 1930 in Rucphen, Holland. In 1953, he came to Canada with his whole family to start a farm in Alberta. They bought their first farm in Barnwell in 1954. Once it was established, John went back to Holland in 1961 to marry his wife Elizabeth.

MRS. JEANETTE "JAY" LOUISE DOUGHTY, beloved wife of Mr. Douglas Doughty, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away at the St. Michael's Health Centre due to complications from Crest Syndrome on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014 at the age of 67 years. Born on October 12, 1946 to Don and Mary Wagner in Toronto, ON, Jay moved first to Vancouver, then to Calgary and finally settled in Lethbridge in 1989. Jay was an avid golfer who achieved two holes-in-one during her playing "

JOHN PATRICK MCCARTAN, beloved husband of the late Eileen McCartan, of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away suddenly while at work in Fort Mackay, Alberta on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at the age of 70 years. He is the loving father of Pauline (Bill) Wong of Calgary; Jacqueline (Bill) Swann of Lethbridge; and father-in-law to Mike Kawade of Lethbridge. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren - Jessica, Cian, Zachary, Nikolas, Chloe, Naithen and Chayne.

JAMES "JIM" RYDL beloved husband of Joanne Rydl of Lethbridge passed away at St. Therese on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the age of 79 years. James Rydl was born October 24th, 1934 to Anna and Vincent Rydl in Hradec Kr?lov?, Czechoslovakia. Jim led a graceful life in a tumultuous world. He survived diphtheria as a child, World War II and the consequential Russian invasion of his home country. James then became a refugee in Austria before immigrating to Canada with his mother, father and his brother Paul Rydl in 1951.
