Alex was taken from his family April 2, 2009 as a result of cancer. He will be sadly missed by his wife Marlene and children; Tyler, Gregory and Marlyse; dear daughter in-law, Amelia (Toplak) Ivanco and son-in-law and friend Don Peterson. He leaves to mourn his six granddaughters; Tasha, Meagan, Trina, Ali, Trisha and Shae; nephews Shane, Leigh, Graham and niece Mardelle. Alex was born in Lethbridge, AB. Detective Sgt. Alex Ivanco served the City of Lethbridge as a police officer for 32 years.

PHYLLIS MARLENE IVANCO, beloved wife of the late Alex Ivanco, of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care, on Monday, July 25, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Marlene is lovingly remembered by her children; Tyler, Gregory and Marlyse; dear daughter in law Amelia (Toplak) Ivanco and son in law and friend Don Peterson. She leaves to mourn her six granddaughters; Tasha, Meagan, Trina, Ali, Trisha and Shae; two brothers George (Kay) Nay and Dale (Lois) Nay as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Shirley Ann Ivison of Lethbridge, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by family on May 15, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Shirley is survived by her children Bob Ivison of Lethbridge, Kurt (Connie) Ivison of Lethbridge, Lynn (Doug) Myers of Edmonton, and Sandy (Jim) Wolosuk of Vauxhall. She is also survived by her brother Bob (Rosemary) Scurfield of Winnipeg and her grandchildren Chris, Breanna, and Jenna. She was predeceased by her parents Bert and Nellie Scurfield, and daughter-in-law Judy Ivison.

IVKA HORMOTH, beloved wife of the late Ivan Hormoth, of Lethbridge passed away peacefully, with her family keeping vigil, on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the age of 99 years. Left to mourn are her sons Tony (Rose) of Lethbridge, John (Anita) of Coal Harbour, B.C., daughter Irene (Ralph) Harris of Lethbridge, sister Aloizya Malik in Croatia, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews both in Canada and Croatia.

IVY (nee WILLIAMS) NISH September 12, 1920 to June 28, 2014 The family of Ivy Nish are sad to announce her passing on Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was the cherished wife of Robert Lee Nish (who predeceased her on January 13, 1983), mother of Gillian Nish, Robert (Barbara) Nish and grandmother of Christopher Nish, great grandmother of Taylor and Zoe Nish, grandmother of Cari (Ashley) Gibbons and great grandmother of Cameron and Quinn Gibbons, grandmother of Andrew Nish (who predeceased her in 2011); grandmother of Stuart Nish and great grandmother of Miles and Hazel Nish, mother of Arthur Nish and Dean (Heather) Nish, grandmother of Gordon (Morgan) Nish and great grandmother of Isaac and Mia Nish; grandmother of Alanna Nish, Becky Nish, Alex Nish, Julie Nish and Liam Nish.
