HENRY REGIER, beloved father and brother, passed away at home on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the age of 60 years. He is survived by his children Leila (Ryan) Oosterbroek of Calgary and Scott Regier of Calgary. He is also survived by his brother Oscar (Sheena) Regier and his sisters Emily (Bill) Blazer, Esther (Milo) Saby and Hilda Fast. He was predeceased by his parents Mathilda and John Regier. A Celebration of Henry’s life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 10:30 A.

HENRY VAN DYK, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Henry came to Canada in 1952 with his parents and brothers and sisters. Besides his loving wife Audrey, he is survived by his son Mitch (Laurie) and their daughter Dallas and by daughter Carol Van Dyk and her children, Jordan ’the dude’ Sailer (Ashley Coe) and Taryn Sailer (Jon Hawkins). Henry was a good and decent man who provided well for his family.

It is with much sadness that the family of Mary Herbers announce her passing on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Mary, daughter of William and Julia Ratke, was born on a farm in Biggar, Saskatchewan on March 11, 1920. She came from a family of 10 children. Mary and Bert were married in 1943 and moved to Lethbridge, where she lived until her passing. She was a loving mother and homemaker, and was always supportive of her children and grandchildren.

HERBERT PETERSON, beloved husband of Shirley Peterson, of Lethbridge passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Herbert Arthur Peterson was born December 10, 1924, in Vulcan, Alberta, the son of Glen and Rose Peterson. The family later settled on their farm near Hanna and eventually Brownfield, Alberta. Herb left school at an early age to start his own trucking business.

HERBERT RONALD DAVIES, beloved husband of the late Elsie Davies of Stavely, passed away at the Pincher Creek Hospital, on Sunday, November 9th, 2014 at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his son Jim (Cathy) Davies of Lethbridge, AB, daughter Carole (Dave) Sekella of Willow Valley, AB, grandchildren; Alissa, Kyle, Caitlin, Matthew as well as siblings Eric, Phyllis, Margaret, Tony, Ken & Susan. Ron is also survived by numerous neices and nephews.

EDWARD THOMAS HERBST, beloved husband of Janet Herbst, of Lethbridge, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the age of 78 years. He is the loving father of Sandra (Les) Hala, of Medicine Hat and Glen Herbst (Kalvin MacKay) of Lethbridge. He also leaves behind four grandchildren Julieanne Hala, Evan Herbst, Ryan Hala (Julia Tumato), Jordan Herbst and one new great-grandchild, his little angel, Amelia. He is also survived by sister Agnes Heringer of Medicine Hat, three brothers Aubrey Herbst, of Foremost, Charles (Lyla) Herbst, of Foremost and Robert (Charlotte) Herbst, of Medicine Hat.

HERMAN ZIMMER

HERMAN ZIMMER, beloved husband of Florence, of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Herman was born in Bruno, Saskatchewan and moved to Ontario when he was 16. He worked on construction for several years. He worked for O’Sullivan Construction in Lethbridge, and through his future brother-in-law Larry Peters, he met Florence. After travelling around on construction he settled in Lethbridge and worked for the City of Lethbridge with the water-works department.
