Dr. Helen Many Fingers (nee Fox) Ka Dan A Wahki (Unseen Spirit Woman) February 12, 1922-January 1, 2014 It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Dr. Helen Many Fingers (nee Fox) on January 1, 2014. Helen was a mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, friend, and Tribal Elder for the Blood Nation. Born on February 12, 1922, on the Blood Reserve in Southern Alberta, Helen was the daughter of the late Cecilia and Steven Fox Sr.

HELEN MARGARET "MERLE" GASSNER, of Lethbridge, passed away on Monday, October 14th at the age of 88 years. Born on October 31, 1924 in Loreburn, SK to Wilbert and Sadye Peardon, a middle child in a family of 14, eight girls and six boys. Merle preferred to be outside helping with farm chores rather than inside cooking & cleaning. It was Merle & her sister (Norma) to deliver milk around town before school each morning.

Helen Mary Kovacs passed away suddenly in her home on May 6 2009, 4 days after her 82nd birthday. She will be dearly missed by her children Greg, Kim, Nadine, and her grandchildren Kelan and Jory. Helen leaves her sister-in-law Anna Blackwood (Art), her brother-in-law John Kovacs (Colleen), her cousins Alice Fransden (Vern), Cliff Firth (Arlene), several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Helen is predeceased by her husband Ernie, her mother Katherine Szarka (Bert), and her aunt Elizabeth Firth (Alwyn).

MARIE ‘HELEN’ TENDLER, beloved wife of John Tendler, of Lethbridge, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the age of 75 years. Helen was born and raised in Pincher Creek, AB. On June 9th, 1956 she married John Tendler with whom she shared 53 wonderful years. Helen was generous, caring and fun loving. She loved people, especially her family and friends.

MRS. HELEN BERNICE THOMPSON of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Clarence Thompson, passed away at the Lethbridge Extendicare on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Helen was born in Golzow, Poland on February 2, 1928. She later moved to Germany before immigrating to Canada in 1951 with her mother, brother and sister. Her family worked in the Picture Butte area as farm labourers in the sugar beet fields.

MRS. HELENA PAULS, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday March 28, 2013 at the Coaldale Health Centre at the age of 102 years. She was born in Kronsthal, Russia. At the age of 13 she received the Lord as her Savior and was baptized at the age of 19. She Immigrated to Canada with her family in 1926. In 1942 she married Abram Pauls, a widower with 10 children.

HELMUT ALFRED MAZEREEUW of Lethbridge, our beloved husband, father and grandfather went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, January 19th, 2014 at the age of 79 years. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Marguerite and their children: son’s John Mazereeuw of Medicine Hat and his children Jeremy & Lindsay, Charles (Shelia) Mazereeuw of Withrow, Alberta and their children Janis & David, Frederick Mazereeuw of Osoyoos, B.

Mr. DONALD TAYLOR HENDERSON, passed away peacefully at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital at the age of 57. Don was born in Drumheller, Alberta on April 9, 1954. He will be greatly missed by his much loved Maria and her son Michael, his sons: Jeffrey (Jill), Curtis, and Dennis; daughter, Michele (Jon); sisters: Sandi (George), Norma Jean (Ted), and Sharlene (Jim); his twin brother, Jim, and his brother Rob (Mary); and his two granddaughters, Taz and Aliah; as well as many nieces and nephews.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ian Henderson announces his sudden passing at the age of 54 years from natural causes. He is survived by his daughter Christina (Paul) Kraemer, of Edmonton, his son David, of Edmonton, his mother Norma (John) Arnold, his brother Lindsay (Trish), his sisters Heather (Mark) Isner and Fiona Henderson. He was predeceased by his father George. Viewing for family and friends will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Monday, February 6, 2012, from 7:00 - 8:00 p.

JANICE PATRICIA HENDERSON (Nee Deak), of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the age of 59 years. Janice is survived by her loving sister Dianne (Craig) Parkinson, her special friend Ralph Fuller, and numerous relatives. She was predeceased by her parents, Johnnie and Elayne, and her brother, Terry. Janice, the youngest child of Johnnie and Elayne Deak, was born and raised in Lethbridge.
