MR. ALLAN “AL” WESLEY HAWLEY, most beloved husband of Verna Hawley, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the age of 81 years. Besides his loving wife Verna, Al is survived by his children; Gloria (Larry) Silsbe, Darlene Hawley, Colleen (Doug) de Casmaker and Wesley Hawley all of Lethbridge and grandchildren; Shawn Silsbe of Calgary, Kayla Silsbe and Scott (Chelsea) de Casmaker of Lethbridge.

MS. CAROL ELIZABETH HAYCOCK, of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael\'s Palliative Care Centre, on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Carol was predeceased by her parents Herbert & Mabel, brothers Charles & Stanley, sisters Isabel and Viola Specht of Winnipeg. Survived by her is her sister-in-law Terry of Calgary, two nieces and three nephews. Carol\'s career encompassed 38 years of service in the RCMP prior to her retirement in 1998.

Lena Hayko, 101, passed away to be with her Lord November 28, 2011. Predeceased by her dear husband Matt in October 1989. She is survived by one daughter Katherine, husband Steve Meszaros, son Edward (Joyce) Hayko, grandchildren Sherry & Greg Buchanan, Deanna Hayko, Dave & Connie Hasley, Lois & Cam VanRoon and five great grandchildren, Jenna, Joshua & Cody Hasley, Carter & Amy VanRoon. Also surviving are Lena’s sisters, Irene Czernick, Marion Field, Flossy Jijian.

HAZEL ANN COLTART…suddenly a name makes the connection! Hazel was born on October 8th of 1936. She was the only child of Frances and Gordon Coltart and grew up in Lethbridge. She was “daddy’s girl” and some may have thought she was a bit pampered.

MRS. HAZEL McALPINE, passed away at peacefully at the Taber Health Centre on Monday, August 26, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Hazel Mae (Borchert) McAlpine was born in Carmangay, Alberta on April 27, 1921, where she lived until she married Stewart McAlpine on June 11, 1945. She was privileged to live in numerous communities in Alberta from Irvine in the south to High Level in the north making many friends in each place they resided.

MR. GEORGE HAZUDA, beloved husband of Helen Hazuda of Lethbridge, passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Lethbridge Extendicare on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the age of 85 years. Besides his wife Helen, he is survived by three daughters, Barb (Charles) LeClair, Laurel (Douglas) Scroggie, Patti (Dominic) Santangelo; one son Douglas (Gayle) Hazuda all of Lethbridge. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Kim Lyall, Jennifer (Chris) Golbeck, Kelli Whynot, Stephanie Bajnoczi-Scroggie, Daniel Bajnoczi-Scroggie, Tammy (Jerry) Firth, James Santangelo, Chrystal, Michael, Curtis and Shannon Hazuda; 4 great-grandchildren, Blayden and Kamryn Golbeck, Addisen and Caydence Firth, and by his loving sister, Mary Hranac.

ANTON \"TONY\" HECK, beloved husband of the late Helen Heck, of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at the Adapta-Care Personal Care Home, on Monday, November 4th, 2013, at the age of 95 years. Lovingly remembered by his three children, Jerry (Pat) of Sherwood Park, Gary (Sheila) of Lethbridge and Bernadette (Jerry) Veres of Lethbridge, 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Anton was born in Regina, Saskatchewan , on December 1, 1918, son of Hieronymus and Anna Mary (Schmidt) Heck.

Anne was born is Steinbach, Manitoba, in 1919, the second youngest of the six children of Marie and George Goossen. She was baptized in her early teen years in the river Seine, close to Ste. Anne, Manitoba.
