PHILIP ADRIAN HARTMAN, returned to his heavenly home on Saturday, April 22, 2017 after a valiant battle with a brief illness at the age of 88 years. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Philip was born to the late Simon and Mary Hartman on a farm in Handel, Saskatchewan. He was immersed in the Catholic faith that would be his lifelong support.

JOANIE FLINDA HOLMES, beloved wife of Winston Holmes, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the St. Therese Villa, on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the age of 74 years. A Celebration of Joanie's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Eva Stanley officiating.

PETER THOMAS HOFER, beloved son wife of Tom & Katie Hofer, passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital following complication from surgery on Wednesday, April 12th, 2017 at the age of 17 years. A Funeral Service will be held at the KINGSLAND COLONY - New Dayton, AB. on Saturday, April 15th, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. Interment follow at the KINGSLAND COLONY CEMETERY.

EVERTJE "EVE" HEINEN beloved wife of the late Bart Heinen of Picture Butte, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the age of 86 years. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME - 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, Alberta on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Frank Deboer officiating.

GEORGE E. HAWS, beloved husband of Gail Haws of 58 years, passed away at St. Michael's Palliative Care on January 29, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Besides his wife Gail, he is lovingly remembered by his three children: daughter Terry Haws-Webb of Pitt Meadows, BC, daughter Gayleen Haws of Calgary, AB, and son Ronald Haws (Velvet Kavanagh) of Nelson, BC; his grandchildren: Jonathan Huxtable, Jennifer Huxtable, and Sarah Huxtable whom he loved so dearly; George's older brother Tom who he forever admired, sister Peggy Weaver, brother Dick Haws; stepsisters: Dona, Debbie and Dee; stepbrother Don and Eddie; George's many nieces and nephews, some that he has lovingly watched grow up, Heidi Bryson, Sandy Cesselli, Cosette Krawec, and Jody Haws, Tom Haws and Daryl Haws.

NOELLA HARD passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on February 22, 2017, after a brief illness at the age of 93 years. Noella is lovingly remembered by her son Robert, stepson Don and daughters Marie (Dan), Yvonne and Shirley, brothers Jean (Therese) and Gerard, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Along with her beloved husband John, she was predeceased by her sister Florence and brothers Lorenzo and Gaston. Noella had a unique sense of humour and a quick wit.

DOROTHY HOUSTON died suddenly Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Dorothy was pre-deceased by her husband, James Houston. She leaves 3 daughters, Ashleigh (Ray) Brown, Erin Houston (Brian Moser); Sian Houston (Blair Pelly), and 4 grandchildren (Siobhan, Mackenzie, Aidan, Kale). She is survived by one brother, Roy (Maureen) Ferguson. Born and raised in Northern Ireland, Dorothy and her family emigrated to Canada in 1971. She liked to travel, particularly down to Waterton.

TIMOTHY J. HOFER, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 19th, 2017 at the age of 35 years. A Funeral Service will be held at the Fairlane Colony, on Saturday, February 25th, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. with a burial to follow at the colony cemetery.

MRS. WILMA HORAK, beloved wife of Mr. Edward Horak, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Wilma is survived by her family; husband of 48 years, Edward, two sons Ed (Kim) and Michael, granddaughters Michaela and Kiara Horak. She is also survived by her sister Joy (Leonard) Honish, niece Leslie Honish and nephew Travis Honish (Chelsey), great-niece and nephew, Sophie and Nathan Honish. She is also survived by brother-in-law Al Horak (Pam), niece Trixie (Tom) Sylvester, nephew Todd (Cindy) Horak, great-nephew and nieces, Tyler Florence, Alyssa Florence, Arianna Sylvester and Tiffany Horak.

LORNE HORGUS, beloved husband of Elane Horgus of Milk River, passed away at the Milk River Health Centre on Thursday, January 19th, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Visitation will be held at ST.
