GORDON ALBERT HILLMER, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the age of 65 years. Gordon is survived by Shirley, his wife of 24 years, as well as his sons Rod (Barb-deceased) Hillmer and Jason (Jennifer) Hillmer, his grandchildren Cassena, Jordan and Dakota, his sister Kathy (Scott), his brothers Chris (Noel) and Keith (Tammy), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents, parents, three brothers, one sister, one niece, and one nephew.

JUDITH "JUDY" LYNNE HUNTER, of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael's Care Centre on Thursday, August 31st, 2017 at the age of 74 years. Judy was well prepared for a career in education, having earned a Bachelor's degree in Calgary and a Master's degree at McGill, as well as many post graduate courses in behavioral and cognition sciences. During her life-long career, she touched many lives as a teacher, administrator, counsellor and researcher.

EARL ALEXANDER HERMAN January 28, 1920 - August 31, 2017 EARL HERMAN, of Magrath, passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritan Society Garden Vista, on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Earl was born in Burford, Ontario on January 28, 1920. He was in the Canadian Navy as an Able-Bodied Seaman from 1941 to 1945. As a horseman, he travelled all over Canada. He passed away on August 31.

Besides her husband, Dianne is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Desir?e Ganger (Dave Proulx) of Red Deer and Kaitlin Hackson (David Kropinak) of Lethbridge; step-children, Nicholas Burla, Cayley (Kyle) Neufeld and Jesse Burla, all of Lethbridge; mother, Hilda Ganger of Lethbridge; as well as six grandchildren: Gabriel Uzelman, Emiyah & Macsim Proulx, Ryder & Liam Kropinak and Olivia Neufeld.

PEGGY LORRAINE HANDSAEME, beloved wife of Bill Handsaeme, of Lethbridge, AB, fell asleep at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the age of 63 years. She was born March 15, 1954 in Edmonton, AB where she spent her childhood. Peggy attended NAIT and graduated in 1976 as a dental assistant. She met and married Bill Handsaeme on February 28, 1976 the morning after a true prairie snow storm.

KAREN HENINGER, of Stirling, beloved wife of the late Bill Heninger, passed away at the Raymond Health Centre on Saturday, May 27th, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Left to cherish her memory are her children Neil (Sandy) Sinclair, Dean Sinclair, Lorne Sinclair and Janet Burgess as well as her grandchildren Gage & Tristin Burgess. Karen is also survived by her sister Ardis Branch (Howard - deceased) as well as numerous extended family members.

Besides his wife Judy, George is survived by his two brothers: Jerry (Kim) Herasemluk and Harry (Calani) Herasemluk, his mother Dusi Herasemluk as well as many aunts, nephews and cousins.

She is survived by her son John (Jacalyn) Hvizdos of Lethbridge her grandson Michael (Deniz) Hvizdos of Newmarket, ON, granddaughter Lisa Pitt (Andrew Ratajszczak) of Melbourne, Australia, great-grandchildren Jamie, Matthew and Eric Hvizdos of Newmarket, ON, great-granddaughter Emily Ratajszczak of Melbourne Australia and her sister Evelyn Biegun of Lethbridge, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and very special friends.

PHILIP ADRIAN HARTMAN, returned to his heavenly home on Saturday, April 22, 2017 after a valiant battle with a brief illness at the age of 88 years. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Philip was born to the late Simon and Mary Hartman on a farm in Handel, Saskatchewan. He was immersed in the Catholic faith that would be his lifelong support.
