MRS. CUNEGUNDA "GUNDA" FORESTELL, beloved wife of Mr. Michael Forestell of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 26, 2014 after a lengthy illness at the age of 89 years. She left this world surrounded by love with her beloved husband Michael and most of her family at her bedside. Mom was born on March 3, 1924 in Viscount, Saskatchewan. She was one of nine children raised on the family homestead.

AMELIA GUNDERSON passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her children Patricia (Martin) Cook of Saskatoon and Karren (Jim) Gaehring of Lethbridge, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Phyllis Gunderson of Lethbridge, nephew Alan and family of Ontario as well as many nieces and nephews in Britain and Australia.

GUNN, MARGARET LUCILLE

Just one day shy of her 92nd birthday mom passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Miggs was born in Cereal, Alberta, where she spent her early years before moving to Calgary at age 9. Growing up, Miggs was very involved with Central United Church in Calgary and often remarked that she had been very close to choosing the ministry as her calling. As a young woman, Miggs worked at the Hudson’s Bay Company in downtown Calgary in the credit department and ran a bookkeeping machine.

ARLENE DIANE GUNTER of Lethbridge, AB passed away peacefully with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, July 21, 2008 at the age of 57 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary to whom she was married for 35 years. She was the loving mother to daughter, Jamie Thurlow (Kevin), son Collin, and grandmother to Bradley, Jordan, Tyson and Kolson. Arlene will fondly be remembered by brothers and sisters, Bonnie (Mike) Yalowizer, Robert, (Sandy) Beaucage, Doug (Kate) Beaucage and Carol (John) Pascuzzo and numerous nieces and nephews; as well as special friends Robin and Liz Findlay and family.

GURUNG, MANO RATHI

MANO RATHI GURUNG, beloved wife of the late Mohan Sing Gurung, of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the age of 69 years. She is the loving mother of Santa (Tika), Man Bir (Dhan Maya), Bir Man (Sandevi) and Hasta Man (Lali Maya). She was predeceased by her husband Mohan who passed away in Bhutan. Mano moved from Bhutan to Nepal under the protection of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, to survive the political instability.

Gus (Gysbert Gerrit) Vander Linden of Coalhurst passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday August 5, 2012 at the age of 73 years, following a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife Hennie; his daughter Gerri (Lorne) and their son Jesse (Samantha); his son Gary (Janet) and their children Jared and Alyk. He is also survived by his sisters in Holland, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law here, and all their families.

GWENETH (GWEN) MIRIAM McCAFFREY of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael\'s Palliative Care Centre with her family by her side on Sunday, August 11th, 2013 at the age of 95 years. She is survived by her son Greg (Judy) of Calgary Alberta, grandson Phillip McCaffrey of Vancouver B. C. and Granddaughter Celeste Cousins (Thomas) and Great Grandson Monty McCaffrey of Florida. Gwen is survived by her sister Elined Stillborn of Melville Saskatchewan and her special Lethbridge family, Valerie Paterson, Kathy, Tim, Mason, Reid and Tyler Grabowski, Kyle, Kaily and Graden Paterson, Isabelle Paterson and Brent Paterson, in addition to several nieces and nephews and their families across Canada.

It is with great sadness that her family announces the passing of JEAN MAY on Friday, December 20th, 2013 at the age of 95 years. Jean and her twin sister Joan were born in Lethbridge on December 18th, 1918 where she lived a full and joyful life. She found her greatest joy in her children and grandchildren who will cherish many wonderful memories. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Leslie Arthur May; her twin sister Joan Murfin and sisters Hazel Leys and Phyllis Wernick.
