GRACE MARGUERITE MARSHALSAY passed away on December 8, 2008, at the age of 97. She was born in Tawatinaw, Alberta to Elizabeth and Fred Strutton. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. She was incredibly active in the community; a member of Southminster United Church, Senior Games Medallist, Alberta Softball Champion, Rebekah Lodge member, Lazy Daisies Club member, Sketch Club member, and served as both Mumsy and Crafty at Camp Inuspi and Canyon Church Camp.

GRACE MARY WRIGHT, beloved Mother, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, September 15, 2008 at the age of 86 years. A celebration of Mom’s life will be held after harvest on the family farm. Cremation has taken place. Thanks to Sunrise Village, Home Care, Palliative Care, all of the doctors and nurses at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital and for the wonderful care provided to our family. You are all a special group of people.

BEATRICE GRACE PONECH, beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Ponech of Lethbridge, was born January 27, 1920 and passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre on October 17, 2007 at the age of 87 after a courageous battle with cancer. Besides her two children, William (Bill) of Lethbridge and Ronald of Calgary, Grace is survived by two sisters, Corrine Dunn (Mac) of Red Deer and Myrtle McNaughton of Burnaby BC.

GRACE FLORENCE POWLESLAND, beloved wife of the late Glen Powlesland, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at the age of 86 years. Grace is survived by her daughters Ruth and Janet and son Bernie, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren as well as numerous sisters and brothers. Cremation. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

GRACE SUYKER (nee Overes) beloved wife of the late Art Suyker of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on July 15, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Grace was the loving mother of Ed Suyker of Camrose, AB, Henry (Cindy), Conrad, Mary Gordon (Rick Somerville), Karen Beebe (Doug) all of Lethbridge and Andy of Lincoln, Nebraska. She had three grandchildren Quinton and Justin Suyker and Spencer Somerville. Grace was also survived by Casey (Margaret) Overes, Bill (Martha), Hubert (Marge), Agatha Aben (Hank), Corry Ham (John), Augrey Muyers (Don), Travis (Martin) of Holland, Jake of Winnipeg, and sister in laws Ria, Peitja and Jo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

GRACE CLAUDETTE TUCKER nee Traxler, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the St. Michael's Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, January 12, 2014. This very special lady so appropriately named Grace was born in Medicine Hat on October 6, 1932, to Claud and Faith Traxler of Etzikom. Being the eldest of six siblings, Grace had many responsibilities growing up, caring for and helping to raise her family, a role she continued until her passing.

MR. GERALD "GERRY" GRAHAM, of Lethbridge, formerly of Calgary, AB., passed away at the Blue Sky Lodge, on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the age of 76 years. At Gerry's request, no formal Funeral Service will be held. He will be greatly missed by those of us who knew him best.

ANNE GRAMS, of Lethbridge, passed away with her family at her side at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on Friday, October 8, 2010 at the age of 69 years. Anne was predeceased by her parents Ole and Lina Tytlandsvik, seven brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband Rudy, daughters, Leola Grams, Roween (Duane) Friesen and Kendra Grams all of Lethbridge; one granddaughter, Mallory Friesen; two brothers and two sisters.

GRANT ALVIN BEATTIE, devoted husband of the late Patricia Beattie, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Monday, September 10, 2007 with his family by his side. Grant is survived by his daughters; Brenda (Cliff) Williams, Lesley (Jack) Chapman and Darlene (Roman) Nestorowicz, sons; Ken Beattie, Gil (Zena) Maggs and De Waine (Susan) Kearney, 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his sisters Shirley (Frank) Bennett and Delores (Bill) Plomp, brother Glen as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

MR. W. GRANT BLUMEL, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Ruth Blumel of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home on September 16, 2007 at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his children Coral Dudley and Craig Blumel of Magrath, grandsons Joshua Dudley of Magrath and Adam Dudley of Lethbridge and beloved granddaughter Kendall Dudley of Magrath. Grant was predeceased by his wife Ruth Evelyn, son Barry Grant, parents Walter and Mae, brother Steele, sisters Twila Steed and Mabel Tulloch and grandson Kevin Dudley.
