GEZIENA \"SINY\" WIGGERS-WISSINK, of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2013 at the age of 68 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons Ron (Diane), Michel and Davey. Also left to mourn her loss, are her grandchildren Ryan (Terena), Monique (Isaac), Chesney, Courtney & Brendan, and her great granddaughter Thea. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters Hermi (Arie), and Rie and their children Danny, Renate and Peter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews all of the Netherlands.

It is with great sadness that our family announce the passing of GHISLAINE “GIGI” VIAU, on December 21, 2012 at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre at the age of 74 years. She will be dearly missed by her husband Pierre, her loving children Nathalie Viau (Todd Masse) and Martin Viau, and her precious grandchildren Andrew and Michelle Campbell. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 - 12 Ave.

JIM GIACCHETTA, beloved husband of Marianne Giacchetta, of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the age of 73 years. Besides his loving wife of 48 years Marianne, he is survived by: Bruce (Wendy) Giacchetta of Calgary, Dr. Rod Giacchetta of Edmonton and Lori Giacchetta of Lethbridge, one grandson Austin and his mother Sherie Larter. He is also survived by one brother Thomas Giacchetta of Coaldale, one sister in law Georgina Giacchetta of Coaldale, one brother in law Robert (Jan) Burns and one neice Diane (Norman) Sincennes and their children Santina and Graysen.

ALICE GIER (nee RATKE) of Okotoks, passed away at the High River Hospital on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Alice is the loving mother of three children, Rodney Dean (Sherry) Gier of Okotoks, Rhonda Lynn Mainzer of Lethbridge and Dale Alan (Michelle) Gier of Okotoks. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two sisters Edna Leffler and Linda Paetsch, and one brother Ernest Ratke.

GIESBRECHT RODNEY KURT GIESBRECHT, beloved husband of Joan Giesbrecht of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017 at the age of 70 years. Rod and Joan lived in Canmore for many years, owning the local NAPA store before moving to Lethbridge. They were truly blessed with a wonderful family as well as being able to travel many times to wonderful places and to see their daughter Lisa (Steve) and grandson, Liam in California.

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of ANTHONIUS (TONY) GIESKE on February 5, 2012 at the age of 93 years, surrounded by his family. Tony was predeceased by his wife Elisabeth (Betty) nee: Lamboo, on December 5, 1983, his sisters Adriana and Riet, and brothers Herman and Edward. He is survived by his children: Tony (Karen) Gieske, John Gieske, Betty (Don) Fuller, Allan (Shannon) Gieske and Tracey Gieske.

After a long and dignified battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Dad passed away peacefully on October 28, 2012 at Taber’s Long Term Care Facility. Dad was predeceased by his father Albert Watmough and mother Mable Crowe, brothers Roy Watmough, Harvey Watmough, Albert Watmough, and sister Doris Pearson. Dad was also predeceased by sisters-in-law Shirley Watmough and Eileen Watmough and brother-in-law Norm Pearson. He was also predeceased by numerous nephews and nieces. Dad will be missed by his children Gayle (Jack) Kwantes of Vancouver, BC, Don Watmough of Peterbrough, Ont, Tracy Watmough of Peterbrough, Ont, Step son Rick (Lynn) De Long of Belleview, Ab, Kimberly Watmough of Peterbrough, Ont and Cynthia Watmough of Lethbridge, Ab.

GILBERT JOSEPH FRADETTE passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at the age of 58 years. A private family service will be held at a later date in Saskatchewan.

The Creator called home GILBERT FRANKLIN WOLF PLUME suddenly on Thursday, May 6, 2008, in Calgary, AB. Gilbert, who chose his grandfather’s name, Makoyiisaapo’pa, was a caring and kind-hearted person who would give the shirt off his back to people who asked. He was a man who took on many challenges in his all-too-short 53 years of life. In his younger years, Gilbert had many accomplishments including the sport of boxing.

GAYLA DAWN GILBORN of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Stewart Gilborn, passed away peacefully at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on October 8th, 2016. Gayla is survived by her husband, Stewart Gilborn, daughter LaRae (Wayne) Murphy, daughter-in-law Karen Gilborn and sister Neva (Robert) McNab; grandchildren, Kasey, Leah, Brett, Madison, Shelby and Johnny. Gayla was predeceased by her mother and father, John and Donna Bair and son, Layne Gilborn. Gayla married Stewart Gilborn in 1964.
