GERALDINE MARGARET JACKSON

GERALDINE MARGARET JACKSON, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Care Centre, on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the age of 88 and a half years. Geraldine was born January 25, 1921 on the family farm at Swalwell, AB. She was the eldest child born to Claude and Gladys Webb. She moved to California in the early ‘60’s where she married Barney Jackson. They enjoyed 25 years together before Barney passed away in 1993.

MRS. MAY BRADLEY, beloved wife of the late Mr. Jack Bradley of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Therese Villa on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the age of 96 years. May was born on December 18, 1917 in Lethbridge and completed her schooling in Bow Island. She attended the University of Alberta for one year before entering the School of Nursing program at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary. Learning the "art" of nursing as well as nursing as a science was reflected in earning a medal for "Executive Ability" at her graduation.

MONICA PAULETTE GERGELY, beloved wife of Bob Gergely, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the age of 45 years. Besides her loving husband, Monica is survived by her mother Nina Rockwell of Coaldale, sister Natasha (Charles) Pittman of Warner and brothers-in-law Bill (Susan) Gergely of Carstairs, Steven (Deb) Gergely of Lethbridge and Marty (Barb) Gergely of Lethbridge. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

GERHARD MARK, beloved husband of Eva Mark, of Lethbridge passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived his three sons; Herhald, Reinhard, Vernon, and their families. Gerhard was a man of his word, loyal to his wife and always thought of his family first. He had a servants heart, was God fearing, trustworthy and honorable.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Hilda (Nauta) Withage; his children and grandchildren: Joyce (Henk) Thomas, Duane and Melanee; Marilyn (Neil Wismer); Donald (Kathy), Katelyn, Marcia, and his namesake Janessa; Michael (Pamela). He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Dena (John) Kooy.

Gertrude, beloved mother, oma and great oma went peacefully home to be with her Lord on February 3 2013. Gertrude married Arie in 1962 and became an instant mother of 5 rowdy sons and one daughter. She immigrated with her new family in 1962. She mastered motherhood, a new language and a new culture all in a short time and did a wonderful job. She is survived by Mel (Phyllis), Betty (daughter in law) Christine (Ian), Henry (Grace), John (Deb), Arie, 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren, two sisters, Piety & Bietie and one brother, Aries, in Holland.

GEZIENA \"SINY\" WIGGERS-WISSINK, of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2013 at the age of 68 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons Ron (Diane), Michel and Davey. Also left to mourn her loss, are her grandchildren Ryan (Terena), Monique (Isaac), Chesney, Courtney & Brendan, and her great granddaughter Thea. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters Hermi (Arie), and Rie and their children Danny, Renate and Peter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews all of the Netherlands.

JIM GIACCHETTA, beloved husband of Marianne Giacchetta, of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the age of 73 years. Besides his loving wife of 48 years Marianne, he is survived by: Bruce (Wendy) Giacchetta of Calgary, Dr. Rod Giacchetta of Edmonton and Lori Giacchetta of Lethbridge, one grandson Austin and his mother Sherie Larter. He is also survived by one brother Thomas Giacchetta of Coaldale, one sister in law Georgina Giacchetta of Coaldale, one brother in law Robert (Jan) Burns and one neice Diane (Norman) Sincennes and their children Santina and Graysen.

ALICE GIER (nee RATKE) of Okotoks, passed away at the High River Hospital on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Alice is the loving mother of three children, Rodney Dean (Sherry) Gier of Okotoks, Rhonda Lynn Mainzer of Lethbridge and Dale Alan (Michelle) Gier of Okotoks. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two sisters Edna Leffler and Linda Paetsch, and one brother Ernest Ratke.
