MR. GEORGE MABIN, beloved husband of Mrs. Annette Mabin, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his children; Bruce (Laura) Mabin of Creston, B.C., David Mabin of Lethbridge and Jennifer (Trevor) Todd of Kelowna, B.C., step-daughters Colleen (Dave) Sullivan of Hardisty, AB and Paulette Shields of Lethbridge as well as 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret, brothers Bill and Tom, sisters May and Peggy, wife Jamesina ‘Ina’, granddaughter Haley Sullivan and step-son Frederick Neville.

George Bruchet passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. George was born 100 years ago in Cranbrook BC on June 16, 1913. He was the fifth of 12 children born to George and Edna Bruchet. Lethbridge was George’s home since 1919. George played hockey in his youth and worked for most of his life as a painter. When war was declared in 1939, George was soon to enlist.

The family of GEORGE WILLIAM MCDONALD is sad to announce that he passed away in the afternoon of July 30, 2014 at the age of 70 from cancer. George will be greatly missed by Susan, his beloved wife of 44 years and their children Laura-Lynne (Robert) Boehme, David (Heather) McDonald, Chantelle (Rick) Davidson, and Natasha McDonald. He was predeceased by their son, Mark Edmunds McDonald. He dearly loved his family and had a special place in his heart for each grandchild: Christopher, Cleighton, Benjamin, Kaisha, Bekah, Joseph, Joshua and Kaleb Boehme; Steel, Cole, Jade, Maggie, and Ruby McDonald; and Ashlyn, Alexa, Richelle, and Jenna Davidson.

GEORGE PATRICK PRESBY, born May 2, 1957 in Sydney, NS., passed away peacefully on April 28, 2009 at the Chinook Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. George lived and attended school in Big Pond, Cape Breton and Fredericton, New Brunswick. He moved to Calgary in 1975 where he worked various construction jobs and was a courier before upgrading at Mount Royal College.
