GEORGE ENS, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, at the age of 84 years. George was embraced by the arms of his Lord in the early morning after being a cancer survivor for 16 years. He was diagnosed with bone cancer in the summer of 2009. He endured the pain bravely as it got worse. He is survived by his loving wife Vi, he is the loving father of Connie (Ken) Kevol of Earl Grey, SK.

GEORGE BOHUS, of Coaldale passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the age of 82 years. George is survived by his niece Betty (Arnie) Rushfeldt of Bonnyville, AB and her family, nephew George Bohus of Lethbridge, and nephew in law, Steve Real of Taber. He was predeceased by his parents Paul & Judith, three brothers Paul, John and Andrew Bohus and one niece Judy Real.

MR. GEORGE KENNETH CARROLL, beloved husband to Dorothy, married for 68 ½ years of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the age of 89 years. George is lovingly remembered as a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather by his wife Dorothy, son Ken (Bev) Carroll, daughter Colleen (Geof) Van Egmond, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. George was predeceased by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

GEORGE EARL BYE, passed away at Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service for George Bye at Heritage Hall, 229 Main Street, Milk River, AB. on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. On the early morning of February 6, 2009, a father, brother, and spiritual leader MR. GEORGE GOOD STRIKER went home peacefully to be with his wife Peggy and daughter Liz. George Sr. ‘Isskssiinaopakstooki’ (Wide Eared Insect) Good Striker was born August 28, 1936 in the old Indian Hospital to the late Frank and Marion Good Striker of the Lone Fighter Clan. MR. GEORGE JAMES MEHALKO JR. beloved husband of Mrs. Irene Mehalko, of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Heath Centre on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Besides his loving wife he is survived by Donald (Jackie) Mehalko of Turin, Gwen (Don) Baker of Coaldale, four grandchildren; Jason (Marcie) Mehalko of Bakersfield, Cal., Brad (Jennifer) Mehalko of Ontario, Cal., Robbie (Darryl) Moore of Lethbridge, and Jaime (Chris) Clawson of Lethbridge, four great-grandchildren; Jasmine and Katlin Mehalko of Bakersfield, Cal.

MR. GEORGE MABIN, beloved husband of Mrs. Annette Mabin, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his children; Bruce (Laura) Mabin of Creston, B.C., David Mabin of Lethbridge and Jennifer (Trevor) Todd of Kelowna, B.C., step-daughters Colleen (Dave) Sullivan of Hardisty, AB and Paulette Shields of Lethbridge as well as 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret, brothers Bill and Tom, sisters May and Peggy, wife Jamesina ‘Ina’, granddaughter Haley Sullivan and step-son Frederick Neville.

George Bruchet passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. George was born 100 years ago in Cranbrook BC on June 16, 1913. He was the fifth of 12 children born to George and Edna Bruchet. Lethbridge was George’s home since 1919. George played hockey in his youth and worked for most of his life as a painter. When war was declared in 1939, George was soon to enlist.

The family of GEORGE WILLIAM MCDONALD is sad to announce that he passed away in the afternoon of July 30, 2014 at the age of 70 from cancer. George will be greatly missed by Susan, his beloved wife of 44 years and their children Laura-Lynne (Robert) Boehme, David (Heather) McDonald, Chantelle (Rick) Davidson, and Natasha McDonald. He was predeceased by their son, Mark Edmunds McDonald. He dearly loved his family and had a special place in his heart for each grandchild: Christopher, Cleighton, Benjamin, Kaisha, Bekah, Joseph, Joshua and Kaleb Boehme; Steel, Cole, Jade, Maggie, and Ruby McDonald; and Ashlyn, Alexa, Richelle, and Jenna Davidson.

GEORGE MERLE HADLEY, beloved husband of Lea Hadley, passed away surrounded by his loved ones at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Besides his loving wife Lea, Merle is survived by his devoted sister Marilyn Short, children; Cathy Ohama, Bert (Moira), Trevor (Barb), Brenda Hadley (Roger Doiron), Doug (Nicole), Sylvia (Keith) Fowler, 18 grandchildren; Lisa (Mike) Cranston, Dawn Ohama, Joy Ohama, Heather (Nathan) Riley, Ryan (Robin) Scheuerman, Sarah Hadley, Tamara Scheuerman, Josh (Shannon) Hadley, Kelsey Burke, Kyle Fowler, Cory Merle Scheuerman, Robyn Fowler, Kendra Merle Ohama, Jamine Hadley, Marina Ohama, Andrew Burke and Mason Hadley, 3 great grandchildren; Shelby Cranston, Kate Riley and Noah Merle Scheuerman, sister-in-law Mary Van Hove as well as numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
