GARBER, MARTHA

MARTHA GARBER of Milk River, passed away peacefully at the Milk River Health Centre on Monday, October 24, 2011 at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ernie, brother Walter, her mother Sophia and her father Daniel. She is survived by her sons, Ron (Karen), Gary (Karen), Alan (Debbie),& one daughter, Annette Bush, all of Milk River; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Olga (John) Zahara. Martha found great joy in singing.

GARNET LLOYD ROBSON, of Lethbridge, passed away in his sleep of heart failure on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the age of 58 years. Garnet will be remembered as a caring person who set his own path in life. Garnet is survived by his brothers Bruce (Bonnie) Robson; David (Susan) Robson; his daughter Nicole; along with 3 nephews, 2 nieces, 2 great nephews and 2 great nieces. Garnet was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Melba Robson.

On September 7, 2013, MR. GARRY JAMES MOTTERSHEAD of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at the age of 79. He was born April 3, 1934 in Edmonton, AB, the oldest of 5 brothers born to Jim and Emma Mottershead. He is predeceased by his parents, sister Margaret who died in infancy, and brother Joseph. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife, Isabel Margaret, and his two daughters, Debora Larko (Don) and Leah Alpern (Mark).

He is survived by his sister Necia (Clayton) Livergood of Lethbridge, AB three nieces and nephews; Debra (Jerry) Savinea of Cold Lake, AB, Curtis Livergood of Coaldale, AB, Lola Pascale of Calgary, AB, Kathleen (Glen) Burke of Okotoks, AB and 12 grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents Morrel and Edna.

GARY ABERDEEN, OF THE BLOOD RESERVE PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY AT HIS RESIDENCE IN STANDOFF, ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2009 AT THE AGE OF 53 YEARS. Gary leaves to mourn, his long time friend and companion Anthony Wells/Roundnose, his special adopted son, Corbin Campbell, his brothers, Lindsay, James, David (Rhea), sisters, Yvonne (Rufus) Pretty Young Man, Sandra (Pat) McDougall, Patsy (Ed) and their families, Aunts, Mrs. Elizabeth Big Throat, Mrs. Clara (Francis) Russell and families.

Born in Lethbridge at the Alexander Galt Hospital to Canako and Seizan, dad was the 2nd youngest of 5 siblings Pat, Bob, Gene, Dad, Gail to which he is survived by his sisters Pat (Earl) and Gail (Jim). Mom and dad were blessed with 3 children Gary Jr. (Dawn), Chad, Kim (Keith) 5 grandchildren Tai, Torin, Josh, Dani, Kenzie and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Our dear mom, TONI GEJDOS, of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael\'s Health Centre on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 86 years. She is the loving mother of Linda Pedersen, Debbie (Patrick) Reid, and Joyce (Bob) Miles. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Tami, Kent, Michael (Vicki), John, Danny, Carrie (Kingsley), and Troy (Sarah). Toni also leaves behind 4 great granddaughters and 2 great great-grandsons, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

CAROLE ANN GEMER (nee Hadford), beloved wife of George Gemer, passed away at the Foothills Health Centre, on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 71 years. Carole was an amazing lady who touched the lives of so many. Affectionately known as "Mother Goose", she was a mom to many, always eager to help out, take care of others and "get the job done".

GEOFFREY JOSEPH CALVERT passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the Coaldale Health Centre. Geoff was the beloved husband of Eunice and father to sons; Michael (Tammy), Peter (Lynn), David (Lorelea) and Phillip. Geoff was born and grew up in the Derbyshire area of England. As a small child, Geoff’s family farmed in the Rockland, Saskatchewan area, returning due to the depression back to England. He joined the Royal Navy in 1942 and served on submarines and surface vessels during WWII, seeing action in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.
