FRED EVDOKIMOFF

In the early hours of December 19, 2008, Fred Evdokimoff passed peacefully away at the age of 77 years. Fred was born in Veregin, Saskatchewan - the second child in a family of five. He spent his young life in Veregin and Thunder Bay, Ontario before moving to Lethbridge in 1952. Easy-going, kind hearted, gentle spirited and strong-willed, Fred worked to live and was extraordinarily generous. He was hardworking, holding jobs with the railway, Lethbridge Ironworks, and eventually the University of Lethbridge before settling into retirement.

FRED HRANAC, beloved husband of Mary Hranac, passed away suddenly while golfing at Indian Hill Golf Course on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the age of 82 years. Fred is survived by his loving wife Mary (nee Hazuda), daughters Beverley (Darin Weinkauf) of Lethbridge and Christine (Brian) Ehnes of Foremost, sons Garry (Rita) of Coaldale and Rick of Coaldale, grandchildren Caitlyn and Shannon Stone, Tyler and Tennille Ehnes and Nolan and Joel Hranac, brother Joe (Laverna) Hranac, sister-in-law Darlene Hranac and brother-in-law George (Helen) Hazuda as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

MR. FRED HAROLD KARREN, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Luella Karren, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the age of 90. He is lovingly remembered by his three sons, Dwight (Diane) Karren; Bryon (Linda) Karren; and Randy (Anne) Karren; two daughters Barb Welsh and Bev Chrupka; his precious 13 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters Lillian, Nurae (Ron), Helendean (Boyd), Joanne; and his brothers and sister-in-law Lloyd (Maude) Orcutt and Lloyd Currie.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of MR. FRED SCHILLING, on Friday, August 28, 2009 at the age of 84 years. All who knew Fred found him to be a kind and gentle man. He lived life with a smile on his face and rarely complained. Fred was born in Hillcrest Mines, AB. and lived in Blairmore until 2007 when he and Dot, his wife of 59 years, moved to Lethbridge.

ELIZABETH ANNE FREDERICKS, beloved wife of the late Harley Gordon Fredericks, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Elizabeth is the loving mother of Richard (Mary) Fredericks of Fort McMurray, Bonnie Cress of Calgary and Harley (Monica) Fredericks of Lethbridge, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her four brothers, Maurice (Lourdess) Trockstad, Eivind Trockstad, Bruce (Shirley) Trockstad and Leif Trockstad, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Fred is survived by his brother Arthur (Rosetta) Sweet Grass, sisters; Mary, Alfreda Sweet Grass, Catherine (Oliver) Russell, Rosabelle (Calvin) Day Chief, aunts Margaret (Andrew) Weasel Fat, Elsie (Herbert) First Rider and Isabelle Healy. He is also survived by his special nieces and nephews he raised as his own children and loved very much; Kelly, Troy (Gaylene), Jamie (Christine), Chrissy (Jono) and Tracy Sweet Grass and special great nieces and nephews Landon, Stetsun, Tylene and McKenzie Sweet Grass who were all like grandchildren to him, nieces and nephews Darren and Marlene Sweet Grass, Lori, Ace, Cade Sweet Grass, Robin Day Chief, Donna (Almer) Soldier, Colin, Lynn, Karen (Keith), Jackie Russell, Michael (Stephanie) Chief Body, Nichole (Andy) Many Fingers, Rose Marie, Doris (Dale), Connie (Calvert), Doreen (Randy) Sweet Grass as well as many other numerous great nieces and nephews.

FRIESEN LADELL VAUGHN FRIESEN celebrated life to the fullest and on February 22, 2011, gave the ultimate sacrifice, his life, for his beautiful wife Candace Joy Hope Friesen and his unborn child, Baby Friesen, both of whom meant the world to him. Ladell was born a bouncing baby boy, weighing 9 lbs 3 oz on May 27, 1976 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, to Stan and Lois Friesen. Ladell was the younger of two children.
