ERICKSON, RUSS

RUSS ERICKSON, beloved husband of Sharon Erickson, passed away at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Monday, October 18, 2010 at the age of 71 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Russ was born at St. Michael’s to Vern and Laura Erickson on February 14, 1939 and spent his childhood in Warner, Alberta. He learned his love of sports early in life and participated in all the school programs, excelling at basketball, baseball and track and field.

ERIK OLIVER GOBLE, beloved husband of Lori Goble of Lethbridge and Waterton Parks, AB, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 25th, 2009. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by Karin Goble (Derek Lidstone) of Lethbridge, Erika Goble (Ryan Gullage) of Edmonton and Erik Goble Jr. of Lethbridge, and three grandchildren, Merek, Bergen and Evret GobleLidstone. He is also survived by his mother, Linnea Goble of Cardston, and his siblings, David (Hazel) Goble, Ron (Beth) Goble and Francie Hammell and their families.

ERNA ELIZA LARSON, beloved wife of the late Dr. Olaf Peter “OP” Larson, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge, AB on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the age of 95 years. She is survived by her son, Arthur (Maggi) Larson; her daughter Caran (Clive) Langdon-Wilkins; her grandchildren Rayna Larson, Ted Larson, Melanie Langdon-Wilkins, and Natalie Langdon-Wilkins. She is also survived by her sister Nora Bergseth. She was predeceased by her husband Olaf in 1979 and her brother Ludwig Satre in 1995.

ERNIE ANDREW YANKE, Born August 4, 1949 - October 16, 2012, passed away in peace and comfort with family by his side, at St. Michael’s Palliative Care, Lethbridge, AB on Tuesday, October 16, at the age of 63 years. At Ernie’s request, there will be no formal funeral service. Cremation with a private family service will take place at a later date. At this time, we would like to thank the doctors, nurses, his palliative care team, and especially the staff at Saint Michael’s Palliative Care Center for their compassionate and gentle care of Ernie.

MRS. ANNIE ESAU (nee Heinrichs), beloved wife of the late Mr. John Esau of Coaldale, Alberta, passed away at the St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at the age of 82 years. She maintained dignity and grace right to the end with her last words being a "thank you" to her nurse. Born in a small village in Russia, Anne was carried by her parents to a new home in Eyebrow, SK.

DIDYCHUK ETHEL MARGARET (RADCLIFF) DIDYCHUK passed away in Lethbridge on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the age of 100 years. Ethel was born in Huntsville, Ontario, on September 28, 1911 to Isaac and Margaret Radcliff. In 1912, she came with her parents, sister Laura and brother Jack to a homestead northwest of Rorketon, Manitoba. She attended Cecil school, then stayed to help on the family farm. She was a dressmaker and worked part-time in the Rorketon Post Office.

“Still Stitching” MRS. DAINA ETHIER (nee Lapainis), passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the age of 54 years, after a 5 1/2 year battle with cancer. Daina was predeceased by her father Gunner Lapainis and is survived by her husband Dan, daughter Sarah of Lethbridge, son Ben (Laura) of Calgary, mother Martha Lapainis (nee Batchens), sister Lija (John) Banes of Lethbridge and their children Melissa (John) of Vancouver, Alison (Darien) of Calgary and Greg of Lethbridge, brother Peter (Wendy) Lapainis of Calgary and their children Travis (Christy) of Calgary and Jeremy (Carly) of Calgary, as well as countless friends.

EUNICE DOROTHY CRAWFORD

EUNICE DOROTHY CRAWFORD, beloved wife of the late George Crawford, passed away peacefully at the Taber Hospital on Thursday January 14, 2010 at the age of 88. She was born in Coalhurst, Alberta on January 2, 1922 where she was raised by her Grandma Johnson and received her education. Eunice met and later married George Victor Crawford on August 2, 1940. Eunice was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years where she enjoyed playing darts and cribbage.

EUNICE PETERSEN, beloved wife of the late Mervin Petersen of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, Palliative Care on Monday, June 9, 2008 at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her daughter Marion Romanchuk and son Ken (Lynne), 8 grandchildren: Jackie (Cam) Campbell, Joanne (Bernd) Stanke, Ken (Zanzara) Petersen, Michael (Tobey) Petersen, Jill (Murray) Larsen, Darrell (Elaine) Harris, Donna (Rick) Lussier and Heather (Gord) McDowall as well as 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

MARK MRS. EVA MARK beloved wife of the late Mr. Gerhard Mark of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Therese Villa on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the age of 83 years. Eva is the loving mother of Vernon (Ruth) Mark, Reinhard Mark and Herhald Mark all of Lethbridge Alberta. She was also survived by her grandchildren Dela and Natasha of Lethbridge, and Venessa and Jennifer of Calgary. Eva was predeceased by her loving husband of over 62 years, Gerhard Mark.
