EILEEN LAVINIA WOODS, beloved wife of Alfred Edward Woods, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Tom, Valerie and Peter; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and her sister Doreen Richardson. She was predeceased by her parents and older brother Thomas. Eileen was born in London, England in 1926. She later married Canadian Soldier Alfred Woods and came to Taber as a War Bride.

EK, PETER " EDDIE"

EDDIE EK, beloved husband of Catherine (Kay) peacefully passed away on April 14th, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Eddie was born on March 29th, 1921 in Jamtland, Sweden to Englebrecht and Anna (Soderbon) Ek. Eddie came to Canada with his family in 1928 and settled in Calgary. He is survived by his sister Bertha, and is predeceased by his brothers Nils, Olie, and Eloff; and sisters Anna, Engla, Brita, Inga, Viola, Marie, and Maret and their spouses and families.

ELAINE JOANNE HOWE, beloved wife of Ray Howe, passed quietly into the presence of Jesus on May 11, 2013 at the age of 76 years at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit, Lethbridge, Alberta. Besides her beloved husband of 56 years, Elaine is survived by her son Greg (Fern) and daughter Leslie McCoy, granddaughter Amanda (Mitch) Lonnberg, grandsons Brett and Clay Howe, special friends Bret Seaton and Ellen Grundy, and great granddaughter Brier Lonnberg.

ELAINE YVONNE MUELLER (nee Oates) passed away quietly surrounded by her family at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, Palliative Care on Wednesday, August 22, 2007. She is survived by her loving husband and partner of 51 years Ed Mueller, daughters Sherry Mueller-Kerber and Lori Brown both of Lethbridge, grandchildren; Tia (Steve) Mueller, Brandi Kerber, Michael Brown and Tony Brown, sisters Margaret Bodell and Brenda Burke and brothers Don and Gerry (Michelle) Oates.

MRS. ELDA RAE ALLEN, beloved wife of the late Robert Bruce Allen, of Taber, AB., passed away at the Taber Health Centre on February 21, 2013 at the age of 75 years. She is the loving mother of Ken (Dianne) Allen of Estevan, SK., and Rocky Allen of Taber, AB. She was a caring grandmother to Joey (Kathy), Kristine (James) and Lisa Rae (Ryan). Elda was a very proud great grandmother to Isabella.

DOROTHY "DOT" LILLIAN ELDER, beloved wife of the Len Elder, of Lethbridge, passed away at the West Highlands Good Samaritans, on Sunday, November 16th, 2014 at the age of 96 years. At Dot's request no formal funeral service will be held, a scattering of cremated remains will take place at a later date.

LENA (MAGDALENA FRANCES) ELDER passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the age of 96 years. Lena was born February 16, 1914 on her parents’ farm near Revenue, SK and married Louis Elder October 13, 1934 in Saskatoon, SK. They farmed in the Revenue area and operated a general store until 1959, when they moved to Saskatoon. They moved to Lethbridge in 1961, where she resided until her passing.

MRS. ELEANOR ELIZABETH BECHDHOLT, beloved wife of the late Mr. Carl Bechdholt, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Extendicare Nursing Home on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her children; Graham (Coral) Bechdholt of Calgary, Charlene (Dallas) Nesbit of Lethbridge, David Bechdholt (Danni McKenzie) of Lethbridge and Paul Bechdholt (Mary Lynne Cheney) of Kelowna, B.C., 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Flossie Ann Lycett, Ron Guy and Alf Guy.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of ELEANOR KATHLEEN ROSS (TILLER) “Aunty”, on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the Drumheller Health Centre, at the age of 88. Aunty was born in Kaslo, B.C. on October 25, 1920 to Thorvald and Edna Horner. She remained in Kaslo to complete her schooling and begin her career as a cashier at Overwaitea. In the early 1950’s, Aunty relocated to Lethbridge living with her sister Clara Doe and family.

ELEANOR CURRIE MOSER (nee Craven), born in Glasgow, Scotland, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on Saturday, April 18, 2009 due to complications from Rheumatoid Arthritis. She is survived by her loving husband Henry Moser of Coaldale, daughter Helen (Murray) Reynolds of Enchant, Alberta, son Brian (Erin) Moser of Lethbridge; five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brianne, Aidan, Brooke and Kale. Eleanor is also survived by her sister, Anne Hendrickson and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews of Parksville, B.
